My only complaint is that it works too good. I have to dump the water out ever couple hours. I can't believe how much moisture is in my basement. It's a great product

When we moved into our house 13 years ago, there was a 20 year old Kenmore dehumidifier in the basement that did okay, but just couldn't keep up with the humidity. We have roughly 1,800 sqft of finished basement and another 900 sqft of crawl space. Since the crawl space was getting some water in it I got a 35pt Frigidaire to help. Between the two of them they did a passable, but not great job. So I decided to replace the now 30 year old Kenmore with this unit. After the first couple of days of this unit being in operation, I have not had to empty the Frigidaire once and it barely even runs.

We received this dehumidifier not even a week ago and it has never worked. The space it is in, is 72 humidity and not a single drop of water was ever collected. DO NOT BUY! We have initiated a return.

Pros: removes 26 cups per day! [6 liters], very easy to figure out, to empty (has a folding handle), good looking, and it's pretty quiet on low setting. Cons: ...? Uhm, not really. Wish there was a 'low' speed setting to reduce the fan noise even further. I might try a dimmer switch. So, I live in a small studio (450 sq.ft.) and was worried about the noise level. It's very present but it's a low-toned, hollow fan noise that becomes white noise quickly. I had a smaller unit before that was higher pitched yet not as loud, and that noise bothered me. This really doesn't. I moved the unit around the apartment (it has rollers) to get the best noise level reduction. Turns out if it goes behind my large flat screen TV that blocks 1/3 the noise. And, don't put the unit right against a wall or in a corner as these reflect and 'amplify' the noise level. Extremely happy. Would certainly buy again.

We had a small problem with this item when we received it but contacted the customer service department everything was taken care of immediately. We now have 2, 1 in our insulated shed this 1 in our garage. Works great! We love them!

Easy to set up, even with hose attachment. Works beautifully. I've had a smaller dehumidifier in my basement for years but I can truly tell this is doing a much better job. And it's not very loud. Of course, it makes sound but I can't hear it unless I'm in the basement

This Dehumidifier has quickly reduced the humidity in my finished basement from 60 to 40 and is maintaining that selected level. It is hooked up to a drain hose to my sump pump.

I was always feeling so sticky even with the AC turned down low. I bought the Dehumidifier based for a 3000 Sq ft home and cannot believe the difference in my 1300 Sq ft home. I have to empty the 1.6 gallon reserve twice a day because it is full of water. It feels cooler in the house too.

I love this. It's excellent. And it pours out so nearly when I empty it that I pour it into the detergent compartment after the detergent for the washer, and I use the water for my laundry! Dry basement, lower water usage, clean laundry! Win win win!

Got my first one a week ago and just received my second. They are quiet and have easy to use controls. The first one is making good progress in my basement with wet concrete due to high ground water level. The two of them should be able to dry it up nicely. I have hoses attached to both that I run to a drain. I am moving them around drying up the most wet areas. Eventually, I expect to just place one at each end. Much more effective than my old dehumidifier. Highly recommend this unit.

I ordered this one after reading reviews on Consumer Reports. Never heard fo this brand but thought with the reviews I read that it would out perform and live longer than all the GE ones I have purchased thru the years. It's done so well that I ordered a 2nd one that I just got 2 days ago and they're both working like crazy to get the humidity down in my lower level in Alabama! I wish I had a drain so I wouldn't have to empty every 5 hrs but it's a finished level with tile floors!I don't understand the comment from one reviewer who said there was nothing in the manual about turning off Continuous when you start it up- that's on the first page of start instructions! Mine has been running continuously because it hasn't been able to catch up yet to bering the humidity down to 40.
