This dehumidifier is excellent. Beautiful, minimalist design, clear control indicators, and a bucket with a built in well designed handle for easy dumping.

It did an outstanding for a small basement. Easy to use and empty contents. Quiet. But the pump burned out after about 18 months of occasional use, past the warranty. However, the company has an excellent customer support page and promptly sent me a replacement anyway. Hope it's not a flaw, it is a great machine while it works.UPDATE: the replacement arrived quickly with great customer service. I'm going to weigh on the side of the problem being a random glitch and change the review to 5 stars. If the replacement burns out too, I'll be back. But for now the customer service is outstanding and it gets the job done.

I have the 1500 sq. ft. version. It's been running 24/7 365 all day and night for over 2 and a half years. Works as well as the day I first turned it on. I live in the NC mountains, so the environment is highly humid most of the time. The humidity inside is always between 40-45. Very satisfied with this unit.

It's very noisy and no at all Quiet as it is advertised. Runs constantly and never shuts off.

The hOmelabs customer service team is the best one in the united states that I have ever met. Initally I chose another dehumidifier. But after reading reviews about hOmlabs customer service, I changed my mindand purchased hOmelabs' products. I made the right decision. The team respond customer service quickly and provide a good solution.

Have a 500 Sq ft apt, but use in bedroom. Couldn't believe how in hours it went from 80 humidity to 50. I live in florida so very humid. This works well, no leakage. Only thing that may bother some is the noise. Equivalent to a window ac unit. I'm a very light sleeper and it does not bother me. Just make sure it's not close to full if using in bedroom it will beep at night when full, but I can't say enough how well this works for overall relative humidity reduction. A

I purchased a 2nd unit as I was blown away with the amount of water from the air inside my Oregon home on the coast with my first purchase and again I'm blown away by these two units. I have no regrets whatsoever in buying them. Thanks. P.S. have been dealing with moisture issues inside my home and wiping down the condensation from windows and don't have to do it anymore.

I have used this every night for 5 years and also during day time when I go out of the house. Yes it is loud. I have it for a 1500 sq. house. I dont believe it is helping the whole house. Just the main room it is in. I dont care for all the dirt that are on the outside grates and there is no way to clean all the holes on the side of it.Also when you empty the filter you unscrew it and it just opens up and pours out to the ground unless u have a container to catch the dirty water. But, its still running for 5 years straight use.

The dehumidifier worked well, but then started to make a clicking noise. We contacted customer support and they quickly resolved the issue.We really appreciate companies that stand behind their products and make it easy for customers.
