It's very noisy and no at all Quiet as it is advertised. Runs constantly and never shuts off.

The hOmelabs customer service team is the best one in the united states that I have ever met. Initally I chose another dehumidifier. But after reading reviews about hOmlabs customer service, I changed my mindand purchased hOmelabs' products. I made the right decision. The team respond customer service quickly and provide a good solution.

Have a 500 Sq ft apt, but use in bedroom. Couldn't believe how in hours it went from 80 humidity to 50. I live in florida so very humid. This works well, no leakage. Only thing that may bother some is the noise. Equivalent to a window ac unit. I'm a very light sleeper and it does not bother me. Just make sure it's not close to full if using in bedroom it will beep at night when full, but I can't say enough how well this works for overall relative humidity reduction. A

Works great. Using in basement in Pacific North West. Takes buckets of water out of the air. Fan sounds like a fan.

I purchased a 2nd unit as I was blown away with the amount of water from the air inside my Oregon home on the coast with my first purchase and again I'm blown away by these two units. I have no regrets whatsoever in buying them. Thanks. P.S. have been dealing with moisture issues inside my home and wiping down the condensation from windows and don't have to do it anymore.

The dehumidifier worked well, but then started to make a clicking noise. We contacted customer support and they quickly resolved the issue.We really appreciate companies that stand behind their products and make it easy for customers.

After 3 years of satisfactory service the dehumidifier repeatedly tripped the circuit breaker in the electrical line that it was connected to. When the dehumidifier was unplugged from the line the breaker stopped tripping. I'm placing it out of service due to safety concerns. Three years of service is pretty bad. I have another dehumidifier that has been in use for over 30 years. Quality products seem to be a thing of the past.

Bought this for use in basement where temp seems within spec for dehumdifier. However, unit has begun to frost up badly. Company sent a replacement with no fuss ...but... new unit has the very same frost problem. Next move is to bit the bullet and pay for a professional quality unit.

It runs great and does what it is supposed to do and being in Florida we have lots of moisture in the air. It makes a little more noise than the last one we had, but we are very pleased with it. Yes, I would order this again if and when I need another one.

After three weeks of straight rain in Northern California, my little house was saturated. I bought this dehumidifier to dry out everything before a mold situation set in. I've only had it two days but so far am very pleased. The rugs, windows and bathroom at the back of my house is finally dry.A few observations: In Turbo Fan mode it is a little louder than expected but as other reviewers commented is not much different than a box fan. The exhaust/air flow is pretty cold, and it did make the past two nights feel extra wintery. It was slightly larger than expected, but is easily transported so I can put it away when not in use. The controls are easy to use, and the collection basin is easy to remove and empty (I didn't get the hose attachment).
