Just started using it a week ago. So far so good. It is louder than I expected but it does the job as intended!

Only had this less than a week so far. Do not like the SIDE vent as the air blows things around that are on the basement floor (papers, cat toys,etc)

Had a small issue with the unit, but their customer service quickly replaced the unit. If not for the problem I would have given a 5 star.

It worked well as a dehumidifier, but my dog was scared by the sound of it running.

Put to work September 2020, coils started freezing up then compressor stopped around January 2023. Used for sprayed open foam cell closed in florida attic. Temps around 80-90 humidity levels peak around 68-74. I put this on a timer to come on during the most humid parts of day around 1pm-7pm. Added some flex duck to exhaust area to help with short cycling. Unit had no problem keeping humidity levels around 50 in large attic (I use have 2 humidifiers spaced out). I connected hose for drain to existing ac pump. I've used many brands in this size and they all last me about this long no matter the cost.

I have used this every night for 5 years and also during day time when I go out of the house. Yes it is loud. I have it for a 1500 sq. house. I dont believe it is helping the whole house. Just the main room it is in. I dont care for all the dirt that are on the outside grates and there is no way to clean all the holes on the side of it.Also when you empty the filter you unscrew it and it just opens up and pours out to the ground unless u have a container to catch the dirty water. But, its still running for 5 years straight use.

It works very well.its just loud.wish it had a way to set to turn on n off everyday at a set time.but as far as dehumidifying our duplex..it fills the capacity everyday w water.helps w mold in coastal climate

Only issue I have with unit is how much the price has gone up over the years. Yeah, I now, blame it on Covid-19. This is not the first home labs product we have purchased.

I empty into a bucket. The design is such that it spills water when you empty via the rear, right corner.

The h0meLabs dehumidifier works great in my bedroom. Efficiently works to make our space more comfortable. I like that it has a comfort level. I can also choose the humidity level if it is feeling too dry. The noise level is great for sleeping.

I have an endless pool in my basement and strive to keep humidity down to 45 as the sweet spot to prevent mold and mildew without excess dryness. Although not particularly quiet when running it isn't unbearable and turns itself off much of the time having achieved that level. This is the second unit purchased because the first one failed after about a year and a half.

The dehumidifier seems to work well and set up is easy except for the instructions on how it operates. There could be a better discussion of how to use the product. Should it be in continuous use or set to keep a certain level of humidity. It's sort of implied but a more explicit instruction would have been welcomed.

overall am satisfied with the unit! The only concern is water tank is not very sturdy and looks like it can break easily if not handled gingerly!
