It arrived earlier than expected, packaged properly but not excessively. It is simple to use, easy to empty replace the water reservoir. I highly recommend it.

Not worth the money or effort!. Doesn't have a filter to protect the condenser coils, although the housing has a slot for a filter. Contacting Homelabs customer service is a waste of time, they do not manufacture the product and really know nothing about the product. total lack of product support.

Bought this in January 2022 and it has been completely reliable, turning damp air in my basement into pleasant, dry air. It has a screw-on opening for a hose that I use to convey the water into the my sump pump (hose not included). I would definitely buy this again. The only negative is that it is slightly noisy.

During the few weeks of spring and fall when in Florida there is little need of heating or air conditioning, we find out tightly sealed home holds enough humidity that leather shoes and leather covered books begin to actually grow mold on them. After looking at dehumidifiers vs air filters, we decided the air filters only capture what's floating around instead of addressing the direct problem of moisture which is what feeds the mold in the first place.My only hesitation was the heat generated by dehumidifiers. That has not been a problem. The unit is noisier than I'd like but it does cycle so its not a constant annoyance. It has stopped the problem we were having, so mission accomplished! It is easy to dump the water and works incredibly well.

I waited to write a review to see if this would hold up. It's been nearly 2 years and I am quite pleased. This does all as advertised, quietly and efficiently. It has many control options to suit your conditions. It does not leak and has shut off features. Lastly, the cost was quite reasonable. (2 years ago, about $200)

A bit noisy but work excellent! When the water level is higher, the noisy level is lower. So I do not clean up the water until it's full. Lol

We bought this hOmeLabs dehumidifier when our 15-year-old Kenmore died. The hOmeLabs has run continuously throughout the year for 2 years in our uninsulated, very humid, 1,800 sq.ft. basement. It keeps our home nice and dry. Maintenance is minimal and if you follow the instructions, this machine perform as expected..

I purchased this Dehumidifier due to very high humidity in my barndominum. After 4 days the humidity has dropped from the mid 70's to at or below 50. It's a little noisier than I expected but as well as it preforms I will ignore a little noise. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

Many dehumidifiers are very difficult to empty. This one is much easier. We had one before that was just $20 less and it didn't work nearly as well. This model pulls a full tank of water out of my studio daily. We have an enormous humidity problem. The cement foundation wicks water from the ground. The humidity is generally about 89 in there. I can run this machine for just four hours or less and it gets the humidity down to around 60 or less. We're very pleased with this purchase. Also, the casters are nice, easy to move around from room to room. It's also a bit smaller than the last one we had.
