It fits 2 PVC pipes and connects to the salt chlorinator cell. Nothing special and no issues. Very straight forward installation.

I took a chance on the $10 spend because I needed a replacement for my BD 1.5 HP pool pump and the BD kit is $50 from anywhere you can find it. I was pleased to find that they are a perfect fit - and I can buy the quantity of one that I need, instead of a kit of 2 unions in 2 sizes. No waste and a $40 savings - Awesome!

I ordered this hoping it would fit because of the fast delivery time. It did and it was! In my opinion, it is also a better design. The nut is deeper than the original part. The threads almost completely cover the male threads on the end of the salt cell which I hope will deter me from trying to over-tighten in the future.
