I had a couple issues and their fantastic customer support fixed me up without any problems. I would get this product again for the support alone.

overall thought filter was going to be ok ,after 2 months of using it is blowing sand into pool

I purchased this filter last year for our above ground pool. I used it for 1 season, then drained and stored it as recommended during winter. This summer we turned it on and nothing happened. Blown fuze, I have replaced several fuzes with the same result. I purchased the extended warranty so no problem reached out to them. They came back with the item still has original warranty contact manufacturer. I did that, they determined the pump itself is no good and will need to be replaced, however that warranty is only for 90 days and I am SOL and will have to purchase the pump myself out of pocket. Don't waste your money for it to only last a season. Not worth it.

This pump has been great so far. While the instructions are very unclear, luckily YouTube saved the day. The water pressure and circulation in our above ground pool has improved so much resulting in clearer, cleaner pool water.In regards to the leaks mentioned in other reviews, since the pump didn't come with hoses besides the single hose between the pump and the sand barrel, we had to make ours fit as best we could. With the help of replacing our existing plastic hose clamps with metal ones and a bit of Teflon tape, we were able to secure our hoses and rid any leaks. For the price, it was an excellent investment for our 13'x13' round above ground pool. Highly recommend!I took one star off considering I had to go out of my way to find useful set up instructions elsewhere.
