Yes, they are flat gaskets. If you need the ones with an o-ring on one side, these will still work in most cases.Our hot tub had a tiny, slow drip at the heater union on one side. These gaskets were perfect for fixing the drip in less than 3 minutes. I changed both sides, and have two spares if needed at a later time.

These are special gaskets, flat on both sides with a ridge around the outside to fit in hottub fittings. Worked great
