best light weight baller retriever. however gota handle with care. many friends had requested me to help to get when this is always out of stock. so happy that the stock had been replenished. must know the technic to retrieve and after that its very easy to retrieve

I had my last retriever(same model) for about 3 years until it finally wore out. I have probably used it 500 times and never had a problem. Very lightweight and folds up for easy storage. Reaches about 8 feet which is usually enough

My buddies are jealous at just how compact and effective this little gem is. It is truly compact...fits in one of the pockets on the side of my golf bag. This is the second one I have bought...I lost the first one. See, I'd buy it again! Stay in the fairway and you will rarely use it, but help your buddies when they put their ball in the water.

I have had this product for several years and keep it in the side of my bag. I play a course several times a year with an island green where this comes in quite handy. It's easy to use and sturdy enough if you don't try to hit your friends or take their snacks with it and only use for the intended purpose. It grabs the golf ball very easily in my experience and I often end up taking more balls home than I came with.

Most important, it is easy to use. Just rest on top of submerged ball and lightly drag toward you. Flip it over, and voila.Collapses easily into a short stick easily stored in any golf bag.Addressing other comments:Hold the end cap button in when collapsing the shaft.If you fully engage the shaft sections nearest the retriever, they will snug up and you can hold the retriever in a shortened position (at that location) without fully engaging all the segments.Take an extra second if something seems stuck. Brute force is no friend to lightweight plastic.Wishes:A longer shaft would, occasionally, be beneficial

Nice unit. Instead of having a ball retriever taking up space with your clubs, this fits easily in a side pocket. The ball grabbing design works very well. It is easier to use than my last one that had a spring mechanism. The plastic handle is a bit flimsy, but works well enough. When you hit a shot in the water, go get your ball, and four more!
