Don't telescope it with much force as the last section tends to jam right and you risk breaking it when you push to collapse it again.

I like the way the product works. It is the best I have been able to purchase and have used one for a long time. I hunt for lost balls, clean, and organize them and donate them to our church thrift store for sell.

It's great to carry a ball retriever, but you don't want some big thing sticking out of your bag getting in the way of your clubs and signaling to everyone that you're probably going to dump a few in the water today. That's why the ProActive Sports Player Select Super-Lite is the way to go. Fits in the large apparel pocket of your golf bag and really doesn't add any weight for us walkers. The trade-off to the light weight and telescoping design is you will need to be a little gentle with opening and closing for it to last. Well worth it for the performance and functionality.

I love this! Out of water is super easy to snatch a ball that's just out of reach with a club. The resistance of the water holds the ball in place really well! It's already paid for itself with all the free balls I have found!

Easy to use, grabs the ball in one try, and is light. That it collapses and can fit in the side pocket of the golf bag is an additional bonus. No longer do I have a retriever sticking out of the top of my bag, it is hidden in a pocket. Highly recommended.

I have only used it a few times, but it's very easy to use. You can extend it as much as you need and it picks up the ball quickly and securely.

I found it difficult to lock all the extended sleeves so that the basket wouldn't twist and then a nuisance to fully retract the sleeves. I kept the device in a side pocket of my bag and the basket broke off so it rests peacefully in the dump now.

The ball grabber is easy to see under water and it's very lightweight. The only thing I dont like is that the sections dont lock by twisting, you have to pull each individual section all the way out to tighten it. So if you have a short reach you'll have the larger sections and handle loosely sliding out behind you hand as you move around with it.
