Mission: The auxiliarys mission is to render service to the weirton medical center and its patients and assist the weirton medical center in promoting the health and welfare of the community in accordance with objectives established by the hospital.

Programs: The purpose of the organization is to promote the welfare of the weirton medical center to the public through services to the hospital and to its patients.

the auxiliary provides educational scholarships to high school seniors who have volunteered their time for the organization and are entering a medical field.
