best hex wrenches ive ever used. theyre super hard, too. and the unique shape means they really grab the bolt. just excellent.

These Metric L-Keys are the best I've used for this price. Unless you need a full handle or a very tight squeeze you won't go elsewhere. The hex heads are very practical and can get into some difficult spots. I don't have the color coding memorized but it makes telling the tools apart as I work with them easy, and the bright colors make them hard to loose. I'm sure I could destroy them with enough force, but in the end they're little metal bars. I haven't accidentally twisted them like I did some imitations.My one issue is the container. For the 9-piece set in Imperial, Wera give you a choice of this plastic snap-locking container or a hook and loop pouch. But in Metric, only the snapping container is available. The pouch is larger, but the tools don't need a lot of effort to pull out. With the pouch don't need to spend time twisting the keys around to be oriented and leveled right like I do with the Snap container. And the pouch can attach to a Velcro strip, while I had to create a more complicated setup to put the snap container on a wall.I would prefer if these wrenches were in a similar pouch to the imperial. At least I can tell which one is Metric or Imperial based on the container.

Case is some sort of rubber, not plastic.Very tight fit, so you have to wiggle back and forth to remove or insert any of the keys.Writing on the plastic sleeves is inconsistent, some of them are really horrible, as if written with a sharpie and a shaky hand, disappointing for the price.Also jesus christ their tool rebel advertisement is cringy..

Nice for the price

Had these for a year and I've abused the heck out of them. I've had no quality issues, they have been indestructible. I didn't know

I am a retired machinist so I have used a few of these allen wrenches. You sort of put up with the wrenches failing and using a lot of different method to get cheap allen wrenches to work. I have recently taken up 3D printing as a hobby and the machine came with a cheap set of allen wrenches. Well I rounded one flat head screw, which used the 2.5mm wrench; I could not remove the darn screw. I got a set of these allen wrenches and this very small allen wrench was able to grip the rounded screw hole and had no problem getting this screw out. The color coded sleeves are a nice touch and the extra long arm with the ball end means you can get in more difficult places with them. I wish I had these when I was working in the machine shop for these would have made life much easier.

I work as a maintenance electrician in an industrial setting. These are the best set of Allens keys I have ever used.

Throw away your other hex key sets you will never ever want to use them after owning this set.

First I had a negative initial impression when I saw how disproportionately long the ones over 5mm are. They are crazy, unnecessarily, inconvenient long. So I cut off that side of the holder and decided to keep my Bondhus sizes 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm in my bag because I don't need them as often.Then during real world use I realize the holder is pretty hard to use. It's hard to explain but I like the good old Bondhus better, maybe just because I'm used to it.That's not a great value so far, but I thought hey at least the smaller ones are great quality. Right?Within a few weeks I have broken the 3mm inside of a screw. See pic. Wow this is bad for future adjustments! Hope it's not me but even if not, some other poor guy is stuck with it. Now some background if you think I simply cranked it too hard. I have been adjusting these same type of 3mm screws for 9 years now. Literally thousands of times I've cranked on the same 3mm screws. Previously I mostly used Bondhus with some random brands mixed in for trial. I have slightly bent a couple, I have stripped a couple, but never has one snapped. That is unacceptably brittle, especially given twice the cost. Any small advantage to the shape is negated if they break so quickly.And then speaking of shape - I also stripped a brand new 3mm screw using these, thought it was a fluke but maybe not. I will say these screws seem to be soft and not the first time to strip. But doesn't that make it worse news when the tool breaks? Especially inside the screw which will make it a nightmare to deal with later.Other brands aren't perfect either which is why I'm always looking for something better. But these unfortunately are not the answer. Way too much money spent to learn the hard way.

They already started rusting even the ones that I don't use. I use these on my fat ripper so they are not around water and are always dry.
