I needed 1 of 2 sizes to remove a screw on my Ring doorbell and this was less expensive than buying 2 individual Tamper Resistant Star Bits. Either size actually worked but I'm now well equipped for future projects. The bits in the Blue Rack ARE NOT part of the set, they are only their to give a size comparison.

I needed this mostly for the T9 bit, but the security hole in the T9 was not big enough. Then also in my picture the T10 bit didn't have the security hole properly done and the bit was a little malformed.

If you need some odd sized star type fittings especially when working on small appliances like a microwave, this set will give you all the sizes needed. Good quality and good price.

I used the heck out of the 3 and 4mm bits for 3 days straight; you could tell from the surface finish that I had used them, but the bits kept their shape, which is all I care about. I wish the magnetizing was stronger, a screw would sometimes drop when I held it all upside down with my driver; so I took away a star for that. I like that the surface finish is a different color than most; it made it easier for me to identify what was mine during and at the end of the job.

Needed to get into my old microwave to replace the microswitches in the door latch. Needed this to remove 2 screws. Well worth the money to complete the repair. Hope I can find them if I ever need them again!

I happen to use the metric set much more than the SAE one but after several months I haven't yet rounded over any of the bits. I also happen to prefer the long length of these compared to many other quick change bits. Overall I think these are a good value.

I bought these to take the back of my microwave off to remove the irritating I'm off now beeps (and then put the back on of course - never run a microwave without it being enclosed in metal as they are. it turns out, I've ended up using these two more times to assist me with taking security bolts off. Useful.

We purchased for the T6 T7 sizes. They stripped out the tips when trying to remove screws. Couldn't get screws out with these. AVOID! JUNK
