My husband is a truck driver and uses this for his log book. The cork underside prevents sliding. He really likes the ruler.

This is a great little metal ruler and very easy to read and handy to carry around in a pocket. My only criticism is the markings don't go all the way to the end so you can't stick this ruler up against something and measure from that.

I needed a small, precision rule for graphic layout on wood. It works perfect and the cork backing prevents slipping. I own 3 different sizes. Love them all!

This ruler is under 2CM in width, much more narrow than a standard ruler. I didn't expect that from the listing, but am VERY pleased with that fact. It makes using the ruler on my small planner papers much easier, plus it's portable since it's the width of maybe 2 pens. Cork backing works well. I may buy another one or two for the office.

These are a dandy little 6-inch ruler with easy-to-read markings and a nice cork backing.The one issue is a paper label applied to the back right on the cork which is difficult to remove without damaging the cork.
