Started installing Emerson thermostats because Honeywell kept failing and tenants got upset.

it just works, you won't need a PHD to install it.

Got this to pair up with a new Modine high efficiency unit heater. There was an existing donut type Honeywell thermostat from the previous heater, but the unit would not function properly with that. I was told by a tech that I needed a non energy robbing thermostat. This did the trick.

I had to replace mine due to breakage of the plastic covering. Despite the negative reviews, this is actually more accurate then the old one, works well, and you can adjust the cycles to long or short. No issues.

Bought this to control my gas log set. Install was straightforward, the on/off switch is 'notchy', but does provide good control. I question the accuracy of the unit, but for it's intended purpose it's adequate. Price is what inspired the purchase.

Good old white Rodgers. They've been making cheap thermostats for years. They work though. I probably installed 100 of them in my lifetime doing HVAC work.

This replaced the original mechanical thermostat controlling the 16,000 btu propane furnace in the RV. Still working fine after 2 years.

This is a perfect replacement for the thermostat in my 2000 Fleetwood Jamboree Rallye. The old one gave up and did not shut off anymore. This one is perfect. It had an off position and the temperature control is spot on. Installation was a breeze. We love the transparent cover that surrounds the thermostat.

thermostat itself seems to work just fine,only complaint is temperature marker is difficult to set very precisely particularly if located in dimly lit area as mine is.

WORKED AS EXPECTED

Our 12 year old thermostat finally gave up the ghost so I replaced it with this White Roger's thermostat. Easy installation (2 wires, 2 screws). Couldn't make a mistake of you wanted to, ha.

Perfect replacement for my old mobile home Duo-Therm gas central heating. Now I have proper functioning and no need to worry about overworking the solenoid switch on the gas control valve. I didn't even need to adjust the heat anticipator on this thermostat, it comes on perfectly as it should for just a short enough time to keep the temperature at the level I've set, this is more efficient than me having to get up and move lever to off or lower to stop the heater running, if set too low you're actually using more gas just to get it back up to a comfortable temp than it just 34;topping34; the temp off. If need be the anticipator is adjustable but I'd go with what the instructions advise which is to hook it up as is and only adjust it if needed, you may be tempted to think it's coming on again too soon but wait until it comes on for that short time and you'll see that it's not on very long and is working as it should. This one also has a notch for holding it in the off position so that your heater will not come on like if you'll be gone during the day or an extended period of time. No worries!

Basic 2 wire thermostat. No digital reading to fail you. Less is more.

I was having trouble with the new round Honeywell thermostats. Honeywell's old mercury thermostats lasted forever. I have rental units and found I was having trouble with the new ones so I looked them up online to find that 25 of the raters gave the Honeywell thermostats 1 star. That is the worst rating and agrees with my experience with them. So I looked up this White Rogers thermostat and it has highly rated. I have used them with no problems so far. Now, all my units are getting this simple, but dependable thermostat. Thanks Honeywell. I am also saving money using these.
