Replaced the the controller on a 13 year old Lennox G40UH with this one.<br />The footprint of this unit was slightly larger than the original so had to drill new holes in the sheet metal for the mounting screws; no problem. Wiring connections are essentially one to one with the original unit. Still, you should be comfortable with wiring to do this.<br />After it was all back together, turned it on and worked right away.<br />That was 3 1/2 years ago and the furnace and AC have been fine since. Yesterday I realized that the furnace was not working ... figures that would happen on the first below freezing night of the year! The diagnostic LED on this board was flashing 3 times indicating "Pressure switch stuck open". Disconnected the pressure switch tube and cleared it, also cleared the connector nipple on the furnace. Reassembled and now the furnace is functioning again.
