My old one in my Yamaha AR210 measured 2-1/4, this one measures 2-3/8 and will not fit in the hole. I didn't see any exact measurements or pictures of the box before I ordered. That would have been helpful to see since apparently these aren't all the same universal fit.

Overall the latch looks perfect, but i bought them used thinking there would be some light scratches or blemishes, but all three i ordered were missing the cam needed to even lock the things...

The diameter was slightly different than the ones I currently had on my boat so I had to enlarge the hole with a hole saw. A little difficult, when there is already an existing hole. Considering I had to buy 6 of them, I felt it was a little pricey but they look and work great.
