My local store stopped carrying it and it's the only sugar I like to bake with. I avoid white sugar. The flavor far surpasses white sugar and you can use your spice grinder so that it incorporates into baked goods without the flecks.

First experience with this so hard to compare. We used it to grind into powder and use to make hot chocolate mix. Worked well.

We prefer sucanat because the nutrition isn't stripped out with bleaching. We use this in place of white sugar in our recipes and it works fine. Add a smidge of molasses and you have brown sugar.
