Causes: Animals, Wildlife Preservation & Protection

Mission: To foster a greater awareness of the important roles that Colorado's native birds and bats play in our environment and to promote the protection of these animals and their ecosystems.

Results: Wild Wings is in its sixth year of operation and has grown over the years. The organization started with one educational bird and is now home to nine non-releasable birds for educational purposes. Last year alone, we saw over 33,000 people in all of our venues combined.

Programs: The programs developed and presented by Wild Wings provide a stimulating and interactive learning experience for students of all ages. Our goal is to help support the balance and preservation of wildlife through education. Wild Wings is continually working to develop new and exciting programs that bring an integral part of Colorado’s wildlife right into the classroom.
