Programs: The Wilderness Society's employ's the tools of research education and coalition-building in its work to create a nationwide network of wild lands across America. Public education efforts are targeted at involving our members and other stakeholders in the cause of wild land protection. We publish a quarterly newsletter and annual magazine for our membership in addition to brochures, reports, e-mail alerts and web site updates that are disseminated to our conservation partners and the general public. The membership department researches and answers inquiries on public lands issues and acts as a resource and referral service.
