Mission: The William & Lanaea C. Featherstone Foundation is a global, non-profit organization dedicated to empowering, inspiring and impacting the immigrant Latino community. The Foundation strives to strengthen cultural understandings of diverse populations through educational training programs. Our mission and vision are at the core of our beliefs and shapes our work. We are vigorously working to make positive change in our community, our society and our nation. Based on our mission, we developed a set of guiding principles that outline our beliefs; these principles guide what we do, why we do it and how we do it. The work that we do puts the mission into practical terms. We are working tirelessly to give the less fortunate an opportunity to achieve economic success through educational training programs. We are on the forefront teaching immigrants vital skills (English language, citizenship, computer literacy and financial literacy); empowering underprivileged youth to become global leaders and rebuilding communities.
