My husband had the tv volume up so high, we couldn't be in the same room. This product is super. However, two of the batteries it came with, didn't work.

My ENT doc had me try this exact product after my hearing test. Eventually I'll get hearing aids, but in the meantime this is a great solution, particularly for one-on-one or small group conversations. It can be a little overwhelming in a noisy or very crowded environment, though.

We especially love to use them in church! But I do wish it was wireless. Still, for the money well worth it!!!

The batteries supply with unit were bad had to use my own batteries. The unit is used for my sister who has bad hearing.

This product has made a wonderful difference in communicating with our grandma in assisted living. Hearing aids were constantly misplaced. Now we can communicate!

It works ok. Bought for my grandma to watch tv or use at church. Does have some feedback noise. Only some of the batteries were still good. Kind of expensive for what it is.

Wow! My husband has struggled with hearing since both eardrums blew out in submarine training in 1967. Had wires (stapese) operations in both ears. VA said he wasn't deaf enough to qualify for hearing aids for over 35 years! By the time they gave him hearings aids he couldn't wear them because his brain couldn't handle all of the noise and gave him horrible headaches. So he refused to wear.Recently went to doctor who used this Pocketalker device on him. WOW! What a difference! He doesn't even have to have the volume all the way up! If your hearing suffers, get this. You will NOT be sorry!!

I just bought this product for my husband who has lost almost all of his hearing. The product was recommended to me by friends who have had great success with the device. Unfortunately, my husband's hearing loss is so severe that we are finding that he has to turn the sound talker volume up to 8. This often leads to screeching feedback. We are hopeful that with more use he can lower the volume and still successfully use the product. Certainly for folks who have not suffered such profound hearing loss this device is amazing! Highly Recommended

I got this for an older lady with very bad hearing. It's amazing! She can hear very well with it and the sound isn't up very much. Great microphone quality!

95 yo relative couldn't hear unless you yelled in her ear. Got this, hooked it up, set it on the table with earbud. Clear conversations now around the dinner table. The tone (frequency) wheel works well. If you get feedback, just dial it down a little bit.

Purchased this item for my 93 year old grandmother. She has hearing aids and still has a hard time hearing us even with those in. We purchased this in hopes that maybe she'd understand us a little better. These are literally miracle workers!! She can hear every word we say to her. We no longer have to scream and shout to try and get loud enough for her to hear us!The 12 foot cord it comes with is extremely convenient while she's watching tv. You just place it beside the speaker and she's able to hear the TV!!

My grandma has had quite a few ...so far this is fantastic....update ...really good but develops a static noise after about three months . Have to replace

The device is great. The battery supply is bogus. 14 of 20 batteries were dead on arrival. Don't have much faith in longevity of the rest.

This is great for my father who won't wear a hearingThis aid. I bought this for him and he would put it on when he wanted to hear things like the tv or when people talked to him. He then had a stroke and has been in the hospital and now rehab and we are so lucky we have it because he would be lost without it. It is his one line to other people. It is worth every penny. The only negative is that volume control will ring if it is over 4 and the mic has to be pointed away from the earpiece or it will ring

I bought this product because of hearing loss due to recurring ear infections. Using this product allows me to hear tv programs without raising the tv volume to a level that would be way too loud for most people. When I have the headset on, I can, also, hear the people in the room with me better. Don't need to keep asking them to please repeat that, I did not hear you. I am very satisfied with it.

My 102 year young mom is deaf, even with her hearing aids in. I was able to test drive this personal amplifier because her residence uses them and allowed me to try it out. I went home and ordered it immediately. The price is right (way cheaper than hearing aids) and my mom definitely can hear her tv (without turning the TV up to 90) when I place the microphone by the tv speaker. And she can hear me when I speak into the microphone. I highly recommend this product. And another plus, I ordered this on a Tuesday night and it was delivered mid-day on Thursday.
