I use these with the pocket talker and they are almost as good as my old hearing aids. my hearing has continually gotten worse and being retired I cannot afford to get new aids every year. these work great.

These are nice and lightweight. I was surprised by the quality of the sound. A true stereo sound (like hearing vocals on one side instruments in the other side). Perfect for our little old personal CD player and mp3 player.

These headphones have taken the place of my earbuds when riding my bike because they are more effective at reducing wind noise and are more acoustically efficient, providing greater sound output for the same electrical input. As a senior citizen, my hearing isn't as good as it was when I was younger, so acoustic efficiency and wind noise reduction are important to me. I want to be clear that these headphones don't eliminate wind noise, but do reduce it sufficiently to make my bike ride more enjoyable.

My husband uses these to hear the TV better. They work well, and are very comfortable for him.

I am a retired MD (Internist) and suffered with advanced hearing loss, I am about 95 deaf and during my visit to Mayo Clinic the audiologists that examen me suggested a bilateral coclear implant. During my balance testing the technician used the gadget that I am using now in order to communicate. I suggest to people with advanced hearingmim loss no to spend thousands of dollars in hearing aids that they don't work. THE POCKETWALKER ULTRA is an excellent gadget easy to use and very economical ($139-149) I have 4 of them just in case that I may misplace them. Also I suggest to people to buy the head set that goes around the neck rather than the one that goes in top of the head. Don't waste your money in useless hearing aids that are OK to use for persons who have moderate loss of hearing.
