I talked with my audiologist about my 103-year-old mother's profound hearing loss. Hearing aids just didn't help her any longer. He recommended the Williams Sound PockeTalker. It has been a godsend for her and all of us who love and care for her.

Instead of screaming into his “good ear” I can now talk normally into the microphone and he can hear me. This product was recommended to me by an audiologist for my 96 yo dad who is very hard of hearing. The only downside is that I must hold the microphone and speak directly into it.

The doctor recommended this instead of a pricey hearing aid the sound is awesome but it also picks up background sounds too and that can be annoying sometimes.

This truly has been life changing for my mother who is almost completely deaf. We took a chance and bought it. She can now enjoy her classical music, a phone conversation, and normal everyday talking without us having to yell. She can now watch TV shows with us without blasting the sound up. The only regret I have is not buying it sooner!

My elderly mother arrived able to hear nothing which was making her unhappy and affecting the quality of visits with her. We set this on the table with the headphones on her and can have a meal together with her participating. To watch TV with her, we use the long cord and put the microphone under the TV. Did not work at church we guess due to radio interference from hearing aids. Did nothing but squeal and squawk. We now have some wax removed from her ears and don't need it for normal quiet conversations, but are using it to watch TV. Inexpensive solution. And Seller was excellent.

I send it as a gift for my uncle, he loves it. So handy and improves his everyday living quality.

Easy to setup snd use!

I bought this for my 95 yo father. He said this device actually works! He had a pocket talker before but it was pretty useless. I highly recommend this product.

My dad lost 50 percent of his hearing. A doctor suggested this product as a temporary fix. It works!! Because of his age; he was opposed to getting hearing aids. It is a universal joy for all of us to have a normal conversation, to watch tv at a reasonable volume etc. Quality of life has been restored with the Pocket Talker.

Used only one day, to early to rate

Got this for my 82 year old mother. She loves it.

I find this may be great for a person who understands how to fine tune sounds, but for an older person, there are too many adjustments that can be made... Not simple enough.It works fine though.

Bought this for my mother in law who can’t hear in 1 ear and barely in other ear.It is awesome for her to hear us and we do t have to yell.I’d buy again for her.

Ordered this out of desperation since Mom’s hearing aides were useless. So glad we found this! She can hear again! Well worth the money.

Bought this for my father-in-law who has been hard of hearing and getting worse for years, but refused to wear a hearing aid. He was to the point of barely able to hear even if someone yelled a few inches from his good ear, but finally decided he needed something. With this unit he can wear over the ear head phones and somehow that is better than sticking something in his ears. End result is that he can hear someone speaking in a normal conversational tone. Now if we can just break his habit of saying huh? to everything... :-)

I don't even know where to start. This little device has the potential to be life changing for so many people who have progressive hearing loss beyond what hearing aids can help with. My 92 year old grandmother just quit wearing hearing aids over a year ago, they were pretty worthless and didn't help her. Not being able to hear has been very isolating for her and made life difficult to engage in. She dealt with it, We dealt with it, we did whatever we could to communicate, but communication was always severely impaired. We just received this device today (I gave it to her as a late mothers day gift) and from the moment she got the headphones on her face lit up. She had control! She could hear EVERYTHING she wanted to..... It was an amazing transformation. I don't think she's ever heard my 3 year old daughter speak, and today she heard her loud and clear! It's like we have our grandma back. My daughter is going to have to get used to the fact grandma can hear her. This device is definitely a game changer for all of us. (I can't speak to the longevity or quality over time..... it's only been a day.... but if this thing goes kaput a month from now, I will purchase it again if I have to)

I am using this while my hearing aids cannot be used due to an ear infection. I literally could not hear anything and now I can have a conversation and listen to the TV. Not as convenient as my in ear hearing aids, but it is saving my life for now. Sound quality good.
