I've been decorating cakes for years, but never knew this tip existed. I tried it for our daughter's tie dye themed birthday party. They came out well, but I'm used to filling my pastry bag with frosting. Packing three bags into one larger one, it was tricky to gauge how much would fit until it was leaking out the top. Overall, though, I am happy with the purchase. I'll have to play around with it some more.

It was beautiful but difficuld got to be an easier way basically 3 bags come out one whole will probably get easier the more a use it but i only need it a couple times a year but will use it more aventually my families growing

Not as easy to use at use as it seems. There are little notches on the sides that, once you find them, help lock them together. The results were great, though, worth the purchase. I have a feeling my kids will demand more tie dye cupcakes!

This product is ok! It got the job done. I only needed it for two colors. The icing started coming out where the plastic pieces connect so it became a little messy. Still made it work though. I think your better off using all 3 colors

I don't bake, but my daughter does. She loves the Wilton Color Swirl, 3-Color Piping Bag Coupler, 9-Piece Cake Decorating Kit for topping her cupcakes. It is fairly easy to use but you get better with the more you use it. Her first batch came out a bit muddy looking, but the next had better icing color separation. The reusable parts are easy to clean and it seems like they will last. The only catch is that you'll need to get new bags at some point.<br /><br />~ Kort

Kinda hard to setup for 1st time users. Not sure if it was coupler or bag, but 1 bag popped at very bottom as I was attempting to use for 1st time.<br />Will need some time, patience, many hot to videos, & practice. LOL

I like the idea. But it's a little unworkable. By the time you fill up 3, 16" bags and try to work with them together as one, it's a large handful... Or two. It would be a better idea of there was one large master bag that you would put the 3 bags of frosting into. As then you could treat it as one bag instead of 3 that you're trying to keep together. But then, with all that, the colors/design came out beautifully! I didn't have to refill the bags (which is what I was going for and probably why it was so large). If it was for a smaller project or they were charging more than $5 for this item I would just fill up 3 sandwich or quart size bags (depending upon job size) and place them into a piping bag and do it that way. But this item was on sale for like $3 or $4 when I got it and for that price it was worth it!<br /><br />Please see pictures on how it turned out. I did a cake for a friend's daughters 5th birthday.

I bought this to decorate a birthday cake and could not get the 3 bags to stay together to put the coupler on. It's probably just user error on my part, and I will try again when not in a time crunch as I think it would be fun to try. I love Wilton products.

I was very excited to use this product, but I found it very difficult to hold the 3 pieces together to put the coupler piece on. And I also found it extremely difficult to hold 3 bags of frosting in my hands and be able to apply even pressure to get all 3 colors on each cupcake I used this for. But overall an interesting idea and I will most likely use it more in the future.

With this product, it makes decorating a lot easier, you don't have to spend the extra time trying to make sure certain colors don't clash or worry about the swirl of colors getting ruined.

I loved the way the frosting looked. The only dislike is how hard it was to get the three pieces to fit in the coupler. This product is very easy to use once all three colors are in the coupler.
