Causes: Environment, Land Resources Conservation

Mission: Winchester land trust works to preserve the rural character and natural resources of the winchester ct area and to educate the community about the benefits of land conservation and balanced growth.

Programs: Preservation, conservation and stewardship of open space and natural resources. Currently the land trust preserves 482 acres, much of it protecting important water resources. Educational programs held included a connecticut trails day hike, sponsored wild-life talks locally, removal of invasive species from its properties.
