I have this hard mounted to the roof of my camper and so glad I did.. it works great, obviously doesn't work real well with a lot of trees over the camp site, but well worth it

Do like they suggest because when you start it has to download software and you need a very strong signal.

This is my second antenna, have two now so we can watch different channels on two tv's. At first I thought it was defective because I had all the same problems others had with finding satellites and grinding sound. YouTube to the rescue, I had too long of cable run. Didn't realize the cable in my motorhome was so long running from the back to front and back again. Ran the cable through the window in bedroom and now it changes channel fast with no having to check switch all the time. I luckily have the option to run cable from the compartment under the bedroom straight up to the Wally box. These are great antennas just don't have a super long cable run. Longer the cable the more voltage degrade you get.

We have a dish on our RV roof, but sometimes when traveling we have a spot with tree coverage that does not allow for connections. This portable dish with long cable allows us to see our shows, yet stores away when not in use. Easy to move between the stationary antenna and the portable one.

The original King tailgater antenna has two connection for a second satellite receiver, if the first satellite receiver was off the second one would lose then signalI wasted my money on buying the first King antenna

I'm a truck driver..I drive a straight truck..I am usually on the road 2 to 4 months at a time. sometimes I'm in areas where my regular antenna doesn't pickup stations very well or not at all and this satellite comes in handy especially if I'm doing a 34-hour. It's been a great investment.

I used to sell and install the large 10' C Band dishes years ago. When I went to Dish Network, I basically carried around a 3' dish that I mounted on my bumper, and set the azimuth, elevation, and skew, then used a signal strength meter to point the dish.This system is basically a device where you place it on a firm level surface, tell them where you are located (to pick up the right spot beams from the satellites), and hit the GO button.The system does everything for you. I'm blown away.
