What do people expect for 40 bucks, a work of art or antique? This table is easy to assemble and looks great. Mine had a small scratch on the edge of the top table but a furniture pen and Sharpie fixed that. The middle drawer is really only for looks as nothing will fit in there other than a few condoms.

Saw this table at target but they were sold out & found it here for cheaper. the table itself is very easy to assemble & is great. i use them as nightstands

Overall I like these tables, but the little pull out drawer is very small and not very sturdy. It was also a bit complicated to put together or rather it required more than two hands at one point. They do gather a lot of dust very quickly and I will be interested to see how the paint does over time since the related coffee table is starting to wear a bit after only a few months.

This table is not the highest quality; but it's easy to put together, and it looks good. They provide a flat surface to hold stuff. What else do you need from an end table?

Debated about these tables (I bought 2!). Quick to arrive and in excellent shape. Wish I'd bought a third! Color true.

Work great height if your bed sits off the ground pretty high. It is descent build quality and fairly inexpensive. I would give it a try.

Absolutely LOVE this lamp table. It is made of SOLID wood, much to my delight. Pottery Barn sells something similar for over $100. This price is fantastic. It was very easy to assemble. The small drawer works great. I love the lines of it -- I didn't need another rectangular shape in my daughter's room, so this was perfect. The paint job was fairly poor, but I wanted to paint it the cream of the trim in our daughter's bedroom. I didn't have to sand it at all. It was as though the coat it came with was a light primer. I just added 2 more coats of semi-gloss, and it is beautiful. Well worth the price.

I ordered 2 of these tables for my living room to use as end tables. They came slightly nicked. I probably could have pushed the issue with the company but after reading the reviews I expected this. However the nicks were not noticeable unless you were looking for them (I was), and I covered them with a furniture marker.I shopped tables for months before buying these. I have a 2 year old and 4 year old boy who love to bang action figures and cars on furniture and I was worried about ruining new tables. This has not been a problem yet. Even better, the price of these were far cheaper than any store I shopped and I constantly receive compliments on how well they dress up my living room.Some of the reviews said the tables were not sturdy. They ARE very light weight but I currently have a fairly heavy lamp on each and they are holding up just fine!I would recommend to buy for anyone who would like to have a nicer appearance to their furniture but not spend a lot of money.

A nice addition to our room without spending an arm and a leg. Wood finish and workmanship make it look a lot more expensive!

I purchased these tables because most of the reviews commented on how they were more brown than a true black. Not true...they are black. Not real shiney, so they go well in the room I placed them. Good table for the price, easy to put together.

This was a great value for under $50 with free shipping. It looks like the picture except for a gap on either side of the drawer that's more noticeable in real life. After a few weeks of normal use - including a few people setting drinks on the tabletop - it still looks new.The one problem I had with assembly was that one of the 8 bolts that attach the legs to the tabletop was longer than the others, and couldn't be completely tightened without causing a visible bulge in the side of the table.
