I bought this as a gift for my mother. She absolutely loves it. She's had it now almost 6 months and its still holding up from daily use. It looks very expensive, but is a little light weight. The raised edges help keep things from flying off the tray and the handles make it easy to move even when full. She uses this tray mostly to eat on, I think its sturdy enough to handle a laptop, or a few books as well.

This is perfect for when my 5yr old daughter sits on the floor in front of the tv to eat her snacks. She feels like a big girl with this! Well made and very nice for the price.

The sides of the tray are wood, but the base is faux. Looks nice from far away, but a little cheap up close... and the finish comes off if you use anything other than water to wipe it. Also, the legs do not lock in place. All that said, though, it's a good buy for the price. I am using it on an ottoman in my living room and feel ok about it getting beat up by my kids because it is the cheapest nice-looking tray I could find.

I bought this serving tray to put on our ottoman in the living room so we'd have something to put our drinks and remotes on. So far, I absolutely love it. It's bigger than I though it would be, but fits perfectly on our large rectangular ottoman. It is structurally sound, it does not look or feel cheap at all. It's also very attractive, with a wood grain pattern and dark espresso color. The fold out legs do slightly move when I pick it up, but they don't flop all the way down so that's good. I can easily move the tray back and forth between my ottoman and couch for a convenient place to put my drink. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to anyone!

Bought this for our anniversary. Make breakfast for my wife in bed it was very sturdy and she was really excited to have it it is much larger that seems in the picture. Easy to clean Polished wood.

I think I paid right around $20 for this... It comes in handy too. If you are looking for something really nice to give to someone, then don't buy this one. I bought this as a Valentine's gift for my boyfriend, and although it isn't the best quality, he loves it & does not need anything nicer. He likes it the way it is.Great buy if you are looking for something useful & inexpensive!

I use this tray often for meals on the couch. When a TV tray just won't let me sit comfortably, this tray is perfect for nestling on my lap. It's sturdy and durable so I don't worry about it tipping. But it's light so I don't have to strain to move it. I think it's a great, handy tray and have even used it once for breakfast in bed too -- a rare treat!

Bought two for breakfast in bed! More attractive than the blond wood or white trays available in stores. We have been using a lot and are very pleased. My only criticism is that the legs don't lock in place when folded up which is why I gave 4 stars versus 5.

It got here on the time they said it would, it's well made. Everything they have said, they have done. I couldn't be happier! It is strong enough to stay level while a nine year old uses it, too.

I purchased this tray because I am on a modified bed rest and wanted a convenient way of eating, using my laptop and being able to do small crafting while reclining in bed. This tray is not too big, light weight, sturdy and can be used for other purposes after I've been taken off bed rest (serving tray, coffee table tray, etc.). I like that the tray has folding legs and handles, making it easy to (if necessary) carry from room to room.I did not find the bottom part of the tray too thin and nor did this tray arrive with nails sticking out underneath. I think it's worth the price for multiple uses and the finish makes a nice, complementary piece if you decide to use it as a serving or coffee table tray.
