This shelving unit assembles fairly easily using an impact driver, took about 8 minutes. The shelving unit seams fairly sturdy, the wood they use is something cheaper than pine, but not too soft. Overall probably slightly overpriced, but my wife likes it.

This shelf is small, but sturdy! It fits perfectly in my small bedroom, yet is stable enough to hold my smaller flat screen tv! It was well packaged for shipping and came with everything you need to put it together. By myself (while fighting the flu) I was able to assemble the shelf in about an hour. Good purchase, worth every penny!

flimsy but functional. Arrives in several pieces, but easy to install. wood color is as advertised. I bought 3 pieces and they work well together.

Went together very easily and is tight and sturdy once completed. My only minor complaint is that the finish on the wood feels a little rough and is somewhat uneven and "scuffed" looking in places, none of which are readily noticeable. I am using this in a corner below my wall mounted flat screen tv, it holds the cable box, roku, dvd player with room to spare, and since the back and sides are open allows for passage of wiring. All in all I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This shelf unit is perfect for my bathroom...I got it to hold towels, wash cloths, and toilet paper rolls for a nice addtion to my pretty bathroom

Looks good but it is not meant to be loaded up with books. It seems to be more decorative. I have some heavy duty books. I am afraid to fill it up.

This shelving unit has a beautiful finish although is much darker than pictured. It was easy to assemble and looks great.

I hung up a nice 50 inch tv and needed something underneath to hold the cable box and help cover the wire/cable organizer. This unit arrived quickly and I put it together with ease.It's darker than the pic and just what I needed.I'd recommend this and it looks nice

These shelves look awesome, are stable, and the easiest shelves I have ever put together. Be aware though, review the height to make sure it will be tall enough for your needs. It looks really tall in the picture. It still meets my needs but I thought it would be taller.

I bought two and they are okay for what I need. We had to redrill one of the holes and the little caps that go over the screws don't stay in very well. We may glue them on.

My living room has an indented dection of the wall and this shelf fits absolutely perfect in the opening, just like it was made to fit there. It is simple to assemble (took me less than 30 minutes), holds my cable box and PS3 right next to where my 55 Samsung is hung, and also leaves room for photo frames and other items. Cables from the boxes can be run down the back and sides (with some tape) and not seen from head on. Of course this isn't a $400 shelf - but for what I was looking for and how it looks put together - aboslutely perfect!!!

Perfect piece to finish my entry area. Exactly as described. It shipped quickly, arrived well packaged and undamaged, went together easily and sturdy. Well worth the money.Only complaint is it didn't come with any anchors to hold it to a wall.

We got this and my husband put it together. It looks great and it is very steady and looks as though it is very high quality. This is a nice piece furniture. We will order this brand again.

This is a very nice bookcase. I'm using it to hold a cable box and dvd player on top and it's just the right height at 42 inches for the bedroom. It takes just a few minutes to put together and it's heavy duty lumber, not chip board. I just wish more of this type stuff was made in the USA.

Well made and went together easy! Would recommend... directions could have been better for those who may be less mechanically inclined.

For the price this costs, it's hard to beat. You could probably get a more "perfect" shelf for more $, but what'd the point be? This gives you the appearance of something nice and expensive, from a reasonable distance, but doesn't put you into debt. It seems reasonably durable & doesn't feel flimsy or anything. Not sure if you could pile it full of 300 lbs of books, but that's not what I have planned.Just one warning - be careful to put the glossy side of the wood (the EDGES, pay special attention to) on the visible side, because with good lighting you can tell if you have a non-glossy side visible and it just looks odd.

I purchased these bookshelf after reading the reviews, in fact I purchased two shelves.Product arrived, well-packaged, and the wood was protected with styro wrap and styrofoam pieces. All items needed for assembly were included in the package. After reviewing the diagram included with the shelves, I was able to assemble these shelves, by myself, in 25 minutes (each) with little difficulty.Nothing is flimsy in this shelf set. The wood is thick and sturdy. The wood screws are substantial, but easily used to assemble the shelf. The finish was nicely done on each piece of wood, too.A few things kept me from giving it a five-star rating: the feet/bottom of the shelves are not finished, and some of them weren't varnished completely; a few of the wood screws were malformed, but I was able to use other screws from the two other sets I purchased; two of the pieces had misaligned pre-drilled holes, so it took a bit longer to fit those pieces with my own hand-held drill to create new holes.All in all, I think it was well worth the investment in purchasing these shelves. I like the color, and the dimensions are exactly as described.

I purchased this shelf a couple of years ago for my spare books and loved it from day one. The wood quality is superb, assembly is easy yet complete and the appearance can't be beat. I liked it so much that I bought another one a couple of months ago for my left over college books. If you don't have a HUGE book collection this shelf is for you. If you have a moderate to large sized book collection you will need too many of these. If only they made them bigger! This unit will look great in your bedroom, study or living room.
