Made of solid wood, not particle board or composite!It's beautiful and sturdy. Assembly took me about 20 minutes.

This shelving is absolutely fabulous. Solid heavy wood, perfect finish, and the parts were complete and easy to put together. Holes pre-drilled well, and all it takes is a little Allen wrench (included) and 16 screws. I'm really happy with it, especially since I paid the same price for a bunch of broken pieces with no finish and impossible to put together wihout an electric drill/screwdriver from another manufacturer!

This bookcase was absolutely perfect for what I needed!!! My only issue was with assembly. Some parts of the wood were tough to get the screws in and when I had difficulty the little wrench they sent would strip the head of the screw, making it nearly impossible to work it in. Once assembled, though, the bookshelf passes all of my expectations. The wood is beautiful, it's sturdy, and it's the perfect size. I couldn't be more happy with it. If I need more space I definitely plan to buy another one.

This product was perfect for giving our son extra space to store his legos and other building creations. We purchased 2 of these with one set of the baskets. He stores his extra lego pieces and instructions in the baskets and places his lego creations on the shelves. My husband put them together easily. However a few cautions:The screws were a bit long in places, so be careful when trying to screw up into the top shelf...go slowly or you may push the sharp tip of the screw through the shelf (we did, and then just unscrewed it until the sharp edge was gone before using putty to ensure the wood wouldn't flake off).One shelf did come with a corner chipped off, but it was in the back so we didn't care. I figure it is in my 8 year old's bedroom so it will get some tough love anyway.The color is gorgeous dark chocolate brown...and the baskets inside it really look sharp. The fact that this is real wood and not composite was what did it for us. We recommend this highly.

I bought this to help my son organize. It was very easy to assemble and it looks nice enough for a boy's bedroom. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be but it really was the missing link in organizing my son.

I was expecting a veneered particle board like a lot of the other shelving units in this price range, but was SO pleasantly surprised when the boxes arrived, each piece of the shelf was carefully wrapped for protection, and the wood was completely gorgeous. It appears to be (I'm no wood expert) solid wood that is stained. It's gorgeous! It has a new, modern, but also slightly rustic and natural look. I love it. I bought this two Winsome shelves - the tall narrow ones with the baskets, and the shorter wider one as well. They look great, they are sturdy, and I couldn't be happier with them. I plan to buy more from this collection over time. I love it!

this is an amazing looking bookcase. it is very sturdy, the wood finish is nice, it is heavy wood, and is put together easily. i highly recommend it.

I bought this 3 shelf unit along with the 4 shelf unit and love them! I am using them as storage in my bedroom and not only was it easy to assemble (within 30 to 45 minutes by myself) but is very nice and the wood is great and blends in well with my existing furniture! The shipping was so quick and now I am just enjoying the organization this unit has given me! Love it. It is a great size without taking up alot of space.

This is a great, really attractive bookcase. It's solid wood, very sturdy and was relatively easy to assemble. The only thing that might be improved would be to use regular screws so an electric drill could be used instead of the little allen wrench provided.The packaging was also great. The box had gotten a little beaten up in the shipping, as they always do; however, the parts were wrapped in extra layers of cardboard and were in perfect condition.I would buy this or a similar item in the future from this manufacturer.

I was a little leery about ordering this bookcase as the other review said it was wobbly. But it exactly fit in the small area I needed - 25 inches, so I ordered it anyway. Also, it was on sale on the Friday specials, so the price was very reasonable. I am so glad I purchased this item as it is fantastic! Very well built, does not wobble at all, the finish on it is beautiful with no flaws - a nice espresso dark color. I even bought the two baskets that fit on the bottom shelf, and it makes for a beautiful bookshelf unit. Don't hesitate to purchase it if you are looking for a small bookcase for a small area. You will be very happy with how well built this book case is.

The shelf is well built and very sturdy. However; I was under the impression it came with the baskets when in fact it didn't. I have ordered the baskets a month ago and am still waiting for them. Please make sure you don't get fooled with "false advertisement"Baltimore Buyer
