Needed a small bookcase and wanted one that had legs to raise it off the floor. This one fit the bill and is also very stylish. It arrived quickly and with no damage. It had to be assembled, but was easy to do. No parts were missing. A good buy for the money!

The dark color loks great against my dark red LR wall; it's the perfect size next to the sofa. Love the tall, deep shelves -- even the art books fit without cramming or hanging over the edge. My 13 y-o put it together for me in less than 20 minutes and it looks great -- has the look of a more expensive shelf. After assembly, shelf is even with no gaps or wobbles. Will likely buy another.

Nice piece of furniture .again delivery was on time as stared put the advertisment stated fully asembled piece and it was not and there were no instructions had to call for some.

Chest arrived really fast. Easy to put together everything lined up. Needed something small to put my TV on it in my bed room and a few figurines and DVD 'S. For not being solid wood it is studier that I thought it would be from other items of similar materials.

I looked around to find something that would match my TV cabinet, and this was the closest I could find that was not absurdly expensive. It also got good reviews as well.Instructions: Like most manually assembled products, they are graphically based. They don't mention important factors. I will explain this shortly.Color: It is not as black as the picture looks. It is a very dark brown. Close enough for me, but if you are looking for a 100% match, you're going to have to go to a brick and mortar company.Assembly: I put together a TV stand/cabinet before assembling this. The stand took me 6-7 hours to do alone. One piece I put in backwards, and didn't realize it until it was too late. A lot of the assembly for the stand used dowels which needed to be glued. Once I realized that I put a piece in backwards, they almost certainly would have been stuck. So I really couldn't do much about it. On top of that, the glass door needed a drilled hole to fit. Thankfully, I was able to drill one myself, and aligned it enough to where it worked.Anyhow, assembling this did require 4 dowels. However, they did not need to be glued(at least no glue came with the product and was not mentioned in the instructions). This took me a little bit over an hour to put together. It would have been shorter, but I put the base shelf backwards, and didn't realize this until I was trying to put on the top. Fortunately, because no glue was used for the 4 dowels, disassembling it took only a few minutes to reverse it. The only part that was a pain, was the last step(putting on the top). Even after realizing my mistake, It took 5-10 minutes or so getting the back to setting into the ridge. Besides those two setbacks, it was simple. I have a lot of information books on it, and it still is very sturdy.It is well worth the price, and assembling yourself.

This book case was simple to put together - looks great - and is sturdy for books or displays of any kind.

Looks good. Super easy to put together but, like any other boxed furniture, it is faster if you own a drill. (Everyone should own one - period.) I wish I had bought a taller bookshelf - I am using in my room and didn't want it to look like an office but I have way too much stuff! It looks nicer than it's price point and much nicer than Ikea crap.

I am very pleased with this storage shelf. All the pieces fit together nicely; it's solidly built; it's attractive.Note that it is basically 2 feet wide -- not as wide as it looks (to me) in the picture.Nonetheless, each shelf nicely holds two of the useful ClosetMaid 11H x 10.5W x 10.5D fabric drawers,of which there are many colors to choose from and pretty much all of which go with this espresso finish.

This shelf was easy to put together and just the right size for my small bedroom. The finish is nice and it looks great!

I bought two of these to store cds on...easy to put together..did it by myself and sturdy enough once I put it against the wall...the back is a little flimsy but since it is going against the wall I used the backing that came with it.

This is so easy to put together. It arrived in good condition. All the parts were there. All prie-drilling was precise and everything fit snugly together. If I should need another piece of put together furniture I will definitely but from this manufacturer.

this storage shelf is perfect for the area it was intended. The bookshelf was easy to assemble a fits perfectly with the office dcor.

This bookshelf is beautiful and was very easy to put together (and I'm not a handy person.) I have tons of DVD's and books on this and it holds up well... it's solid and well-made. If you need a shelf, I definitely recommend this one; well worth the price!

Some of their products are kind of 'rocky' due to poor production sampling or whatever, even if they are good in all other ways. This one actually sat flat and looks/feels solid and quality.

I read a lot of reviews on a lot of shelves before I settled on this one, I wanted something nice and sturdy, that wasn't horrifically expensive. A book shelf for almost one hundred dollars is in my price range, but just barely, so I shopped around. I agree with the reviewer that said the packaging was damaged, but as with their review, the contents were fine. It got to my house in about 5 days which was awesome. I completely disagree with the person who said this is only nice enough for a child's bedroom, but not for real furniture. I'll add a picture and you can see how nice it looks. All the pieces were in the package and the whole thing screws together and is very sturdy, I have a really heavy jewelry box on top. The shelves aren't adjustable but I wasn't looking for them to be so...If you can use a screw driver and follow basic instructions you can build this.
