These are just as functional as the plain tubular models, but more attractive for the small price differential. Plus, the utility shelf that can be used or swung out of the way is very helpful for travelers.

We don't rent out our lake house but like to invite friends. It gives them a place to put their bag other than on the bed. Keeps things organized. It is attractive, doesn't look like we stole it from a hotel room and sturdy for a heavy bag. I am thinking of getting one for all the bedrooms not just the guest room.

Fine folded furniture is not so easy to find - Guests appreciate having a place for their suitcases...I like that there's room even for their shoes! My guest room is an office w/out closet - this makes it possible.

This a nice sturdy luggage rack and serves its purpose great! However gave it only four stars as it is more brown than black. Thought by looks of photo the wood color would be darker. Bottom shelf works great for shoes or purses

When I received this luggage rack in the mail, some of the wood was chipped off, so I sent it back for an exchange of same model. The second one I received was better, but some of the finish was unpainted. I decided to keep it anyway just to avoid the hassle of returning another. I haven't had any guests since I purchased it, so can't speak for the construction. I believe the company should closely inspect the finish prior to sending it out.

This rack is perfect for the guest room. It is very sturdy, and durable. The straps are supportive, and the added shelf is perfect for shoes.

A very nice way to welcome my guests. It is sturdy and it looks more expensive than it is. The bottom shelf is very convenient for holding shoes or carry-ons. I recommend this product.

Bought this because I travel for a living and always have a suitcase packed and ready to go and needed a place to put it that makes the bag easy to pack. Wish it was a little higher and had more room between shelves but works well for its purpose. Mine came with a minor defect where the bottom shelf doesn't align perfectly when folded, but not bad enough to return. Looks nice without the cold feel of metal like you find in hotels.

We live in a tropical climate and receive visitors almost every weekend. Our guest bedrooms are setup like a BnB so the wife wanted something for our luggage oriented guests. Bought a couple of these and they are both sturdy and fine to look at. They even fold up nicely if we do want to put them away.

This is a pretty nice luggage rack. I bought it because it is wood and has a shelf, and the price was reasonable for those features. A recent guest put one carryon suitcase on top and a second one on the shelf, although the shelf would otherwise be good for shoes. The only thing I don't like that well about the rack is that the straps are lower than the wood horizontal bars and not on the same plane. If a suitcase is slightly larger than the strap area, it rests on the wood bars at an angle instead of flat. A still larger suitcase would rest on the wood and not on the straps at all.

Ordered 2 Luggage racks and they were what we expected.The only problem was the plugs that cover the screw holes kept falling off.little glue fixed that.

I did not experience the issues some folks report here. I chose this one because of the bottom shelf - nice feature. The color is consistent and is an espresso brown. The finish is nice and smooth with no real imperfections. The straps on mine were a brown color slightly lighter than the wood.

I like the straps on this and the shelf on the bottom. It has a couple of tiny cracks in it, so I know it's not made of gold. But that is okay.

Classy looking. Wish it came in White/Shabby to match my room, but no one makes one at this reasonable price.Only small downside is the weight of the luggage may cause the rack to close. Strange design.
