I love this shelf. It was easy to assemble, looks great, and is nice and sturdy. But I have to take a star off for that enormous, hideous warning sticker. Even if that's a requirement for certain states or something, did you have to make it not to be removed and put it on the underside of the top shelf (literally the most conspicuous place possible)?

The photo in the description shows this as a free standing shelving unit. However when I received it, the directions show that it must be attached to the wall. Very misleading. Its on its way back.

The holes do not line up well, and as others have noted, they have placed a huge stick beneath the top shelf that is next to impossible to get off all the way.That being said it seems sturdy and will hopefully stand the test of time in that regard.

I'm happy with this shelving unit. I need it for my small space to keep books on. I assembled it myself, but I highly recommend using a screw gun with a hex/alan wrench bit - turning the screws by hand with the hex wrench provided was ... not easy. The screw holes are tight, so turning the screws in was a bit much by hand. Having someone to help fit hold parts at one end together would be a good idea as well.It seems sturdy enough, better than many other shelving units I've purchased before. I will be sure to place heavier books on the bottom though.

This is actulally my 3rd Winsome Leo shelf I bought over the period of time. And I am very happy with them. They are very easy to assemble. The holes are precisely aligned and hardware is good quality. They are solid wood, and the sale price makes it unbeatable choice.

This is a beautiful, heavy, functional small bookcase. The instructions were clear, but because it is so heavy it was a little tough to maneuver on my own. It works in the corner, but there are warnings that it should be anchored to the wall. We put heavy books on the lower shelves and lighter items higher up. It is a beautiful dark piece of furniture.

I bought this to go next to my vanity for extra makeup and body spray/lotion. It is the perfect size. It was easy to assemble and didn't take long. It is sturdy and great quality. I love it and I'm thinking about buying a 2nd one as I love the way it looks

From reviews I read I was prepared to paint, drill and basically use this as a model for a shelving unit. Okay, not that bad, but I was ready for imperfection. However, for reasons I don't understand, shelving units are hard to find and crazy expensive. So, for the price I made the leap. I did not have to use a drill, a screwdriver or other similar tools. However, a wood marker did come in handy in multiple places. the shelves don't fit like a glove with gaps in places that are secured. The HUGE sicker on the top shelf that you see if you are sitting on your couch won't come off and I used a rawhide hammer to get the outside screw covers in perfectly. But it wasn't difficult once you oversee its downfalls! It looks nice now, mostly, the spaces are still there but it's pretty sturdy regardless, just not visually the best.

I love these. I've bought 2 and I think they look really sleek and they're very sturdy. A tiny bit of a pain to get together. But honestly not too bad. One woman job.

I had been searching for a bookcase that would work for our office, and this did not disappoint. It was easy to build, and it works well with our space. It doesn't hold as much as I thought it would, but it's sturdy and sleek, so I can't complain. Will most likely order another one!

Looked like it would be a really nice piece of furniture. Solid. Nice color. But, unfortunately, I got two of the same sides, not mirror images. So the holes wouldn't match up. Had to return it. :(

I read a lot of reviews that were positive so I gave this one a whirl. Not disappointed at all. It arrived quickly, it was easy to assemble, and it looks great in my home office. It is well-made, sturdy, and looks good.I am very pleased with the purchase overall. It immediately dressed up my home office, which was in dire need of a makeover. I'm expecting the matching bookcase shortly as I also purchased that piece.
