I felt it worked better for me to mark each part prior to assembly so I didn't need to jump around in the instructions. That being said, it was easy to put together as long as you paid attention to detail. (There are a lot of slight angles). Comes with Allen wrench needed to assemble. No other tools or glue needed. This is not coming apart.

My wife really likes this stool. I'm glad I bought it for her. They do send all screws needed and an allen wrench, BUT as soon as you really encounter resistance when tightening the screws, they start to strip out. They are NOT quality screws. Made it really hard to finish assembly. I think they could do better with the quality aspect.

These barstools were easy to put together and they are solid and sturdy. I ordered black and the color is a deep rich black. They are perfect!

These stools aren't bad. Gives you a place to sit for a short period but not too comfortable for extended seating as there isn't any seated padding or back support, which I knew when purchasing. Not bad though.

I needed a single stool for my newly put together sewing area. I converted the closet that used to hold the washer and dryer into a small sewing center. I can close the louvered doors and hide the project mess. This saddle seat stook works great for me! It is very sturdy, solid, easy to put together and it slides easily under the fold up counter top. Truly a win-win. The price difference for the black finish vs the dark brown was significant, so this spring, I'll paint it black so I can pull it out and use it on the kitchen when needed. Certainly glad I have this stool!

Purchased 4 and they were easy to assemble and comfortable to use. Just moved into a home that had a counter height bar. These barstools were perfect.

I like the product, however! The package was NOT delivered to the right place, nor was it delivered to my hands as the comment section on delivery mentioned. That is simply not the truth.

The holes were too small for the screws. So when twisting the screws stripped. As a result the chair wobbles.

Assembly was easy. But the screws that came with striped out so easy, just starting them into the holes would strip out both the screws and supplied Allen wrench. Even using my own tools stripped out the screws. Other than that the seem to be ok.

Easy to assemble. After 1 year of use these stools are almost useless. They are very cheaply made. The screws no longer stay tight and they feel as if they're going to fall to the floor when you sit on them.

Real Beechwood construction (a hardwood). Well-stained by the manufacturer. Easy to assemble. This will last for years, if not abused. Since it's hardwood, you can actually sand it down at some point and paint or re-stain it, if you ding it or scratch up the original stain. Get yourself a trendy cushion for the seat and you'll be living uptown.

Do yourself a favor and buy different screwsthe one that come with the stool are soft and are a nightmare to tighten without stripping the head. Not to mention the hex key that comes with it is filthy and oily. I bought new flat-head wood screws at our local hardware store (14 x 1 3/4”) and it made assembly so much easier. The stools are great otherwise!

Good quality for the price.I guarantee people complaining that it fell apart did not tighten the seat Allen's correctly, or they installed the legs upside down. As usual, these types of items are best assembled with a power tool. Otherwise you need to key them very tight to tap the wood sufficiently.
