Use WD-40 on screws and holes. The screws easily strip - very easily !! I wish they were normal screws - Phillips or straight screw drivers and not the L wrench type. pay attention to the angled insert too. FOr the price, they are very nice... just the screws getting stripped is a huge issue.

Assembly wasn't too bad. Seems like solid wood and a sturdy seat. I love no backs so we can easily sit without moving the stool. Comfortable for the adults and kids.

This stool is very sturdy and very nice looking. I didn't have much difficulty putting it together (83 yo female). I did use a ratcheting star bit screwdriver to finish getting the screws in. It is hard wood. I would recommend this stool. My husband can't stand up very long and it works fine at the bathroom counter for him to brush his teeth and shave.

Putting these together was hard, and took 2 nights. I wish there were directions regarding the sizes of screws. I agree with a writer who said to use a mallet to set the screw covers in place. I'm a 65 year old female and my strength is not what it once was which is why I finished putting the 2 stools together the next night. That said once finished I was so pleased. They are solid and comfortable and I really like the color. Exactly what we needed. I recommend!

The color of the wood is not a walnut like pictured! It is more of a cherry. Much lighter and has red undertones. I was trying to match other furniture so be warned!

Work great as barstools for counter in apartment. Also work great as a makeshift side tablewhen needed. Love that I'm getting dual use out of these.

These stools are fantastic. They were so easy to assemble and they have not wobbled since. They are very comfortable at just the right height to climb up on and sit at the counter for breakfast. Love them.

A nice stool. But the heavy wood came scratched on 3 surfaces. Not sure why the company would mail this heavy stool out to anyone with obvious scratches and attempts to repair it.

The product is good, and vey sturdy. It just takes a while, especially in the tight places to use the hex wrench to tighten the screws. You really have to hold the long and short cross bars firm to tighten the screws, because they will continue to turn. When they stop turning is when you know its complete.
