I bought three of these for my new house and these were just about perfect for the kitchen counter. The quality is good and the stools were easy to assemble. After several months of use, they have held up well. I will buy replacements if needed.

I would have liked it to be 42 inches instead of 39. I put it on raisers to get that height. I use it as a standup desk for a computer.

These stools are great for our kitchen - the slide under the counter to be out of the way when not in use. They are very sturdy and I often stand on them to reach our taller cabinets. Assembly seemed to take a long time and was frustrating at times - it is easy to confuse some parts for others. I also had to purchase and add felt pads to the bottom of each foot to keep it from scratching our wood floors and being so noisy when moved around.

I actually bought this for my workbench and haven't used it much, but it's nice how it turn sideways and tucks into a small space. assembly was kind of a pain (wish I'd had a rachetting hex driver at the time). solid wood. a good buy.

Sturdy, good look, comfy for this type of bench. Very pleased with this purchase. The paint does not look cheap and it seems as if it will hold up for a long time to come.

. To me they look nice and feel nice. I had read that a few reviewers had received mismatched or incorrect color on their stools, but this was not the case for us. All three stools are matching black, with no obvious scratches or chipped paint, just as we ordered them. They appear strong and have held up sturdy even when my son was climbing the lower and upper bars (more than once) to perch himself onto the wooden seat. There aren't any problems when my 250 lb. husband sits on it either.It is to early to give a prediction of how well these stools will hold up, but I think they'll be fine. I am expecting these stools to be used quite a lot because they are pushed right under the extended countertop of our kitchen island, which is a hot spot in our home. I will try to remember to come back and give an update on these stools at the three month, and six month mark of having them. But if that time comes and goes and I still haven't provided the update and you'd like to know, please feel free to kindly remind me to do this. Or if you have any questions (small or big) until then, please feel comfortable to inquire with me. I don't bite. :)

We purchased 2 of these for our house and 2 more for our church and find they are sturdy and comfortable. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the assembly took a bit more effort than I expected. (I did appreciate that all the necessary tools were included.)

After about an hour we got the stools put together. Overall they are sturdy and very pretty! I am so excited that they worked after the reviews that I read. There was only one thing that was wrong and it almost caused us to send one of the stools back. Two legs have red dots and two do not. The ones with dots were to line up with the dots on the base. When they did the crossbars didn't line up and go together. The dots were just painted wrong. When we swapped them up and didn't line up the dots the stool came together. It was confusing but now that they are together we are very happy!

I bought 3 of these bar stools and just love it. If not for the instruction manual I would have given it 5 stars.The color is as pictured. I was worried about quality considering the price....but that too is good...the stool i sturdy. Overall it looks stylish in my kitchen island. I love it!

I bought this stool for my hallway desk. It fits nicely under the desk when not in use. The dark color goes well with the color scheme. It is sturdy and gets a lot of use when I need to cut the boys' hair because it is the perfect height.I gave it 4 stars because the finish is easily scratched. With proper care it will keep its pristine finish.Not a stool for rough and tumble households, but great for mature families.

I ended up buying four of them for my kitchen and once you figure out the build process with the first the three others go quickly. If you've got a power drill with an allen key attachment it'll go that much faster. Very sturdy, nice finish. Good weight. Be sure to measure out the height of your counter/table, as these are on the shorter end of bar stools - but the height measurement is accurate.

would be better if the missing cap for screw cove would be sent....this is my second request;please, thanks

Had a couple of hiccups putting the stool together, but once figured it out the rest went very easy. This is a well built, sturdy stool and a steal for the money.

These are great as they take up less space and can be kept pushes in and out off the way. Comfortable enough for the kids and solid.

I would have rated these 5 stars, but I'm taking away one star because the assembly instructions were so bad. It took me about an hour to put the first one together......it only took me a beer and 10 minutes to put the second one together. Once you finally get them assembled they are great stools....nice looking, and solid. When I look at these other reviews that mention they have to retighten them every day, I have a feeling they put them together incorrectly. But, for the price, these are great stools!

Works well with the 3 piece set I purchased it with. The seat itself is a little lower than the seats of the chairs in the set I got but it still completed the look.

I ordered a couple of these. They add a great look to our kitchen island. The only dissapointment was they weren't completely balanced but enough so that it wasn't bothersome.

We purchased 3 of these a few days ago and they were not very difficult to put together. After the first one it only took about 20-25 minutes. 2 of them wobble a tiny bit when your not sitting on them, but they seem very sturdy. The only issue I had which might become a bigger issue later is the the screws are pretty bad. I had at least 2 strip with not much tension on all 3 chairs. So be very careful when you are tightening or you just might want to go buy some nicer steel screws. Anyways, all in all good so far.

I purchased 4 of these stools for our small lake house - they are easy to put together and look good. Competitively priced vs retail stores. They are good quality.
