Very sturdy, very attractive wood. Bought 1 one last year, this one a month ago. Same quality, great buy too.

Chairs as described. Arrived quickly, well packaged. Fairly easy to assemble, good quality, nice color. Makes a perfect addition for our kitchen island.

Just what we needed to complete our kitchen. Seats are comfortable and can be pushed under the bar for storage.

These stools are great, although the instructions were vague so we initially had difficulty putting them together. Other than that, very pleased.

Purchased 3 of these for daily use at our breakfast bar. Easy to assemble, attractive design, and the price was right. Our 2 young children are comfortable on them with no falls yet (knock on wood) unlike swivel stools, even those with backs. Saddle style seat is very comfortable and our larger (200+ lb) friends find them comfortable as well.Unfortunately the finish on the leg supports is already rubbing off (see those 4 bars running perpendicular to the legs) where our feet rest. We don't wear shoes in the house so it's not like they receive a lot of friction.Also the stools are becoming wobbly. It's a matter of prying out all the little screw caps and re-tightening each joint, probably 20 min of effort, but it's already been done once and we've owned them less than a year. Since they're not swivel or height-adjustable like our former bar stools, I guess I expected them to remain sturdy over time.Overall, 4 stars as they are a nice design and fit our remodel budget. If you're looking for something that will last a lifetime, either try some wood glue to reinforce the joints, or expect to spend a lot more on higher quality stools.

This seems to be a good stool. It was priced well and is as comfortable as any wood stool can be. It is exactly as described and arrived promptly and was packaged well. The directions were fairly easy to follow. One of the little wood plugs that covers a screw hole came out of the hole and has since been taken by my cat, so it's probably history. If I should ever need another one to match this one, I would definitely purchase again without hesitation.

Seems good and strong. I put 5 together and for the price you can't beat it. I would recommend as a good budget stool.

At the price paid, couldn't ask for anything more. Very study. My only complaint is that they took a while to put together.

Follow the instructions and you'll have no problem with the assembly. Some with little hand strength might want a better allen wrench with a handle, but perhaps a pair of pliers will help. I've only had it a few days, but I suspect I'll want a bit of glue to hold some of the screw covers in. The seat area is very large; I've already used one as an occasional table temporarily. The height is perfect for me; and at 360+ pounds, it seems very solid.

Sturdy, compact and attractive. They fit nicely under my breakfast bar. Purchased two for my daughter and I liked them so much I came back and purchased three for me :).

Easy to put together, decent hardware. The only issue I had is that a couple of the wooden plugs to cover the screw heads are too small and fall out from time to time. A dab of wood glue put that to rest.

These are stronger than expected. I'm 6'+ 230lbs+....and I can hold my 2 toddlers on my legs as we sit on the stools. They total 60lbs together. That's apprx 300lbs +/- This is good info given the sticker on the bottom of the stools states it has a max weight limit of 220lbs. I gave 4 stars. I'm not going to get overly excited about some bar stools. Good quality, good design,nice true stain color. The assembly: I bought different screws and used wood glue in the holes. (The stools come with allen head screws.) Overall easy to put together and pretty darn strong. Very happy. [We've owned these since Dec14 '13.] No loose screws. no creaking sounds. Hope this helps.

Overall very nice color and quality. Easy to assemble but some pieces fit awkwardly. Nice stool for the price and I will purchase the two more that I need.
