Solid wood furniture but I did have a problem putting two of the screws in. I got tired of trying and decided to leave it alone and come back to it later. Overall it is still a solid piece of furniture..

Good quality and it looks great!! Very nice for ready to assemble furniture. The only negative is that the pieces were not labeled for assembly, but it wasn't very hard to figure out.

Sturdy, nice finish, easy to assemble, got all the parts, packaged well. Basically it's a table, if it looks like you want it too then get it.

I love the tables. They are light enough to move easily, but very sturdy. They look good and are serviceable.

Got the order very quickly...just a couple of days. Easy to assemble. Love the sizes. The color has a deep redish look to it. I was hoping for more of a dark brown, but I still like it. One of the tables had some markings on the outside of the table top from the staples/nails on the under trim area. But I just put that side up against the wall so you don't see it. I can also use a furniture marker to touch it up if I want later.

Great color, easy to assemble. It's great by the door to catch keys and small items on the way in.

I needed a tiny desk to fit in my park model RV. I spend the entire summer in another state and need to have a place to do and keep paperwork but I have very limited space. This not only fit in but matched the wood in the RV perfectly. Holds my laptop and gives me lots of storage space.My husband put it together quite easily however it takes 2 people to hold the top on while you put the rest of the pieces in place (or you might destroy it with a hammer if you're short of patience!). Really is nice quality, perfect size and reasonable price.

I bought this for my son who has an incredibly small bedroom. Moving into middle school, he will be doing most of his homework after school at our dining room table, but if he to he can go to his room for longer term projects. He needs something to write on that won't take up so much room day to day. I think secretary's desks are a smart choice for small homes because of their small footprint. I have one for myself from World Market, good quality and I got it half off on a mega sale they were having at the time.Well, I needed one for him now, so I came here to read the reviews. I was so impressed by the real wood and looks nice comments that I decided to give it a try. It didn't hurt that it was $100 off. So it came fast, we inspected each piece and none were scratched, so we went to putting it together. Well, my husband did. He said it took him about 30 minutes, but he is pretty familiar with furniture like this. Instructions were poor, but it managed to get together and it looks absolutely wonderful. Even has scalloped edges on the top and drawer piece, so it looks more finished. We bought a junior chair from IKEA to go with it, and we are all set.Definitely recommend this for a small space.

I was happy to see no recognizable particle board and that the construction was not cheapish. This is not a large desk, though I had no confusion about that when I ordered it. It was fairly simple to put together and my Mom was quite pleased with it. A very good value.

My husband found the assembly of this desk to be of average difficulty. The pieces weren't numbered or marked. He erred at first, and had to reassemble it. On the desk drawer, the holes for the screws on the sides were not big enough for the screws.He hammered in eight small nails instead of the screws, and was very pleased with the results. The assembled product is very beautiful. The finish is rich and unmarred, and it's a solid wood desk. We bought the Normande Lighting Bankers 60 watt lamp with mica shade to grace the top, and it really compliments the desk.My husband said to be aware that the holes in the front of the drawers for the knobs are larger than the back holes, as he initially had some confusion over which side was which. I am an older woman with arthritis and am mechanically challanged, and I couldn't have done it by myself, but if you have average carpentry skills, you should be O.K. The reason that I gave it five stars is that it is a very good product once assembled.

I got 2 of these to function as nightstands for a rather tall bed. They are perfect. Not too big, just right for a a cell phone and/or tablet. Drawer and lower shelf offer more space for less used things. Even the finish wasn't a half bad match to the bed I have.

I was very hesitant to purchase furniture on-line, but this has worked out well for that little corner next to my front door. Product was easy to assemble with no missing or damaged parts. Description was accurate.

The tables came even before I was expecting them. The colour is just as shown in the picture. They were very easy to put together and the quality is really good. I like the rounded off corners which make them very safe for children to be around. They are well made and very firm.

This is a great table that I've been looking for, for years! I wanted something that was higher than the usual nightstand because I have a high bed. This is perfect, has a small foot print, good drawer, lower shelf. I also love the dark wood finish.

At the price of this secretary, I had my doubts, but was I ever surprised. It isn't especially easy to assemble because most of what you have is solid hardwood. Numerous times I took my portable drill and lengthen and enlarged the holes to make sure I didn't strip the head of my screw and I still managed to strip one with my final tightening. It didn't matter, but it shows the care an individual must take to do it right. The Camphor wood is real (note the light colour and the fragrance is wonderful but not strong. I've been quite lucky with many purchases that have been higher quality than I could dream and this is one of them.

these tables are adorable. They're not very high, so not to be used as tv trays , but are perfect to hold a drink, the remote, your reading material, etc. Perfect for our needs

This desk unit was used for a small corner area in the dining room for a desk. It is just enough space to be practical, yet can be folded up when guest come of for dinner.
