This table EXCEEDED expectations. It looks great and the price is awesome. Could not get a better table for the same price

I bought this for our office's kitchen/copy room. It looks even better than I expected! I didn't have any trouble putting it together using only the items included in the packages. Once the table was completed (easy peasy) I put the flat Styrofoam piece that had been packed in with the table on the table top and used that as my workspace to assemble the stools. In full disclosure, the stools are slightly off balance but I suspect that with a bit of use that will straighten itself out. Overall, everyone in the office is pleased with this purchase.

Great little table. Takes wear and tear pretty well and looks wonderful. It's very study and comfortable considering the bar stools aren't padded. Reccommend!

This is a solid wood set, as opposed to the cheap wood you might expect when you order furniture that needs to be assembled. This product exceeded my expectations and looks great in my home! Very sturdy!

Real, solid wood, not that pressed-wood nonsense you find everywhere. Attractive cherry-wood type finish. No tools needed--it comes with an Allen wrench. It's a simple design, simple product, for a price that can't be beat. This product is made in Malaysia, and evidences pride in workmanship.(Note: the table is perfect height for a stand-at bar-type table: think, drinks/chips at a party. And you could use it as a stand-up desk as well.)

Decent set. Stool screws have to be tightened bc they start to get wobbly.. Good for the price I guess..

I have really been enjoying my new kitchen table. I do not have a desk and now have a good area to sit on my laptop and study, as well of course as eat a meal without sitting on the couch. The table looks just like how it does the in the perfect, and has a beautiful finish to it. I had no difficult assembling the table itself but had a little trouble with the barstools and had to get an extra set of hands. I am very surprised at how sturdy the stools are. My son keeps misusing them and standing on the bottom pieces and so far nothing has been damaged. I highly recommend this table to anyone who has a tight fit in their kitchen or just doesn't need a giant dining table.

You would think a nice, sturdy, simple bar-height table would be easy to find - but they aren't. I bought three of these to use as stand-up work stations at my office. These Winsome tables are perfect size for that. They fit our need of having stand-up work stations to fit a computer and keyboard, and be used occasionally by employees who need a break from sitting. We got the matching saddle stools for another option. Tables are solid and roomy. Design-wise they are plain and classic enough to fit modern or traditional.

just what i needed. fits in the space I have. right height. a nice color. would recommend it to others

I really do love this table. The table itself is incredibly simple to put together, the stools, as mentioned in other reviews, can be a bit of a hassle.I did put one of them together incorrectly and only noticed after the screw caps were in place, so I will need to replace that one, but that is my own fault for not reading the directions clearly enough :(The color on my set is basically identical to the color in the photo, I know a couple other reviews mentioned a more cherry color, which I wasn't opposed to, so I ordered anyway, but mine was definitely true to walnut.It looks gorgeous, and it's solid wood, so that's definitely a plus. I would recommend this table to anyone who likes pub-style tables.

We loved this table when we saw it staged in our new house. Once we bought the house, we ordered the table immediately. We thought it was a similar table, but had not realized that it was the exact same one. It is perfect in our little breakfast nook!

The table is great. Exactly what we were looking for and get a lot of complements from friends. Came woh a scratch on one of the side but not a big deal- that sides against the wall. Putting it together was simple too, recommend it

This is a beautiful dining set. Definitely looks much more expensive then $186. Looks & feels like same quality that you would find at Target, similar Table was double the price. Easy to assemble. ONLY NEGATIVE is the stools wobble, and one leg on each seems to be uneven. We fixed it by sticking a felt pad under the one leg and works fine. I can't complain with that for the price.

...but be prepared to adjust things a bit.First off, the table and chairs come boxed separately. The boxes took a beating from one coast to the other, but the pieces were wrapped well and not a scratch was on them. I didn't personally consider the boxes heavy, but if you lived on the fifth floor or higher you might be breathing heavily at the top.The table was a snap to assemble, just an Allen wrench, 10 minutes tops. Everything was perfectly level, quite sturdy. Legs and frame are very solid; top is solid "something". Not MDF or anything, just a softer wood. I think it'll take a beating, finish was quite nice and it's well worth the price in my opinion.The chairs are good too (Allen only as well) but they take a lot longer to put together and a few of the many dowels involved where much thicker than they should have been. Nothing that course sandpaper and a TV show to distract couldn't fix, the dowels are hidden so there isn't anything visible, but it could have been one chair down if I hadn't been willing. About an hour and a half total with maybe 45 minutes fiddling around sanding and trying too often when I still knew it wasn't enough.End result: I really like both the table and chairs. The height is perfect for standing or sitting (very nice for social use in a small kitchen); very comfy for three and fine for four if you don't have much else on the table. Stools are surprisingly comfy. The two levels of supports are structural, but work well for different leg lengths as well. All in all, quite content, and it wasn't much more than the MDF crap you can find everywhere and which falls apart so easily.

I feel like I searched high and low for a bar height table. They were alot harder to find than I thought. Most tables were counter height, but i wanted something just a few inches taller. Then I found this table. I was iffy on it because of the price, I thought it was too good to be true. So I took a gamble and purchased it. I am so glad I did. This table is solid wood! It was pretty simple to put together. It looks great. The table and chairs are very sturdy, they do not wobble at all. I definitely recommend purchasing this table if you are looking for a bar height style. It fits perfectly in my breakfast nook!

The only negative of the entire transaction is that I found out it was back ordered 10 days after it was supposed to ship. Not the best communications by the seller, but the table itself is very, very nice (once it arrived)! Made of all real wood, and has a great finish to the wood. For the price, you can't beat this deal. It's ideal for a two-person kitchen breakfast bar or a little pub table to enjoy your favorite brew. I'm glad I went with this option.

The table arrived with no damage to the box or its contents. All contents were accounted for and the parts bags were unopened.The table has a total of eight screws, aulen wrench included, and was a piece of cake to assemble.The chairs were a bit trickier and the instructions stretched my spatial imagination, but it helps to just start putting one together and then look at the instructions again. My suggestion is to screw the four legs in but leave them a bit loose and then to insert the cross connects. It'll make more sense then.Once together it looks really good and the chairs are compact but comfy. Overal a good value.

I was really surprised by how good this table really is. Heavy, solid wood, sturdy stools, great finish. It was exactly what I was looking for in my kitchen. This table is a great deal.

We bought this set to provide some additional seating in our newly finished basement and it is perfect. We don't have a lot of space and were looking for a tall table that our toddler wouldn't be able to reach. The pieces are all wood and went together pretty easily. It is definitely a good set for the price. This would look great in any room where space is limited.
