These (I purchased two) look great. They make a smallish living room more manageable than a traditional coffee table. They also add a nice updated touch to a room that had become somewhat boring.

The cube is great and affordable. They look exactly like the picture and was a breeze to assemble. Love it!!!!!!

A very smart looking box that assembled quite easily. It's real wood, like the other Winsome products I've gotten, which means it takes some finesse to get it to go together properly--don't crank down each screw as you put it in, leave them loose so you can jostle the parts and crank the screws in sequence 1/4 turn. The lid is square but the box itself can get rhombus-y, so use the lid to help you decide which parts to jostle. I still had a little bit of disjointedness on one edge, but I put that side towards the wall so who cares.It has a strong (if your head is near it) smell of the polyurethane sealant. It'll go away.Edit: I added a pair of small hinges on the back and a spring-loaded support (designed for holding lids open) inside in the middle. Got it all from Home Depot, probably cost $12 altogether and it made the box infinitely more useful since you don't have to find a place to set the lid down every time you want to sift through the box.

Great little table/storage box. So nice I ordered a second one. Easy assembly, too. Substantial item. Great for the price!! Looks more expensive than it really is.

I was a little nervous from readin the other reviews that we would have to create new holes or that they would go together all wonky but they aseembled perfectly right out of the box. They are exactly what I was looking for to add to our living room & the price was perfect (shipping kind of stunk since they are considered a heavy item) but it was still cheaper than buying what I saw in stores!

There was some negative reviews about this item, but I have to tell you that for price I paid ($49) they are wonderful. Really easy to put together and are solid wood with a nice finish. I ordered two and one came damaged so I am having it replaced. They look exactly as pictured too!

Since all the bad reviews are old, I just want to update the review and say that these cubes are GREAT and of decent quality. Perhaps the company took notice and improved the quality. They are not solid wood or cheap particle board, but they are veneer wood. Going with the price and the free prime shipping I took a risk and I am glad I did. I got two of them, they fit perfectly with my decor and just what I needed.They were extremely easy to put together, one person can do it in less than 10/15 minutes, even if you are not handy at all. The holes for the screws sometimes are not aligned (as is the case with mass produced furniture) but nothing that would make them wobbly or not fit properly, a little wiggle here and there and voila!!!I HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a fine looking piece of furniture on a budget.Since I just got them I cant comment on durability, but I own other similar quality furniture and if you take care, these things last for years in my experience.

We bought 2 of these cubes and they are very versatile... we use them side by side for a coffee table, or pushed to the couch sides for end tables, or even as extra seating when needed. One stores blankets for curling up in front of the TV; the other stores games for family night. They look good (nice lines, good wood tones). They are not super sturdy. (Ours have several knicks and dents, but we also have 2 little kids who are not kind to them.) Also, when we were putting them together, we could not get one of them together correctly so that the lid lay completely flat. I thought this was going to bother me, but it really doesn't. Overall, great for the price -- but remember, you aren't paying much.
