I have it in my bathroom, which means it is exposed to moisture. I have had it for 2 years now and it is still as beautiful as the day I got it. Very easy to assemble. Sturdy. I also have the 5-Tier Storage Shelf sitting on top of this (space is very limited in my bathroom). I use this for bath towels and the 5-tiers for wash cloths, medical supplies, hair and makeup products. It worked out perfect for what I needed.

It's hard to beat this unit at the priced offered. Most of the units at this price point are vinyl covered MDF. This unit is wood and wood veneer. As some have mentioned the back is three pieces held together by two plastic spleens. However once assembled its sturdy enough. I put a couple extra screws in the back which made it much more sturdy. You can see the spleens from the front but once put stuff on the shelves it's not that visible.

This bookcase came unassembled and was easy to put together. The wood is a beautiful color and the quality is very good...... excellent price as well.

I loved this so much I bought 2 of them-- they are perfect-- easy to put together and it looks like real wood- the top and the sides- not that fake stuff-- it may be the fake stuff- but it sure doesn't look like it! So worth the price and the ease in putting it together.

Overall very satisfied with this product. So far it appears to be very sturdy and of good quality for the price. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that some if the holes weren't aligned correctly during assembly.

For the price this has so far been a great buy. Lots of room, easy to assemble, and very sturdy. Not real wood and the back is your typical particle board, but expected with any closed-back shelf. Purchased this to organize a couple bins full of children's books that were taking up space on my floor, they fit well on the bottom shelf (still in the bins), now they are not out in the open. As well the top shelf hold all three of my children's school work and educational materials, crayons, etc... Top shelf is a great display for family photos, etc...

solid bookcase, easy to assemble, arrived on time, I really like the finish. It's very sturdy and matches my other furniture quite well
