It makes it easier to do everything in bed.Doing homework on laptops, watching stuff on laptops, writing homework, eating breakfast/brunch/lunch/etcIt looks great, but maybe I would say it looks better in the picture.

Purchased these for the wife as a Christmas gift and it's great. I love to cook and especially on a weekend, I will make the wife breakfast in bed. This handy little tray folds up to lay flat under the bed or between the bed and nightstand. The added side door keeps a fork and napkin at the ready without falling off. She also uses it some nights with her Ipad while we watch tv. The tray is sectioned on top so the table setup up like a easel.

I like this product..but the legs are short so the height is low. good product at this price range. good for 13-14'' laptops.

The shape and size are great, but the construction could have been a bit better. I also found the drawer useless. It flops open whenever you fold it up. If I had it to do over I would get one without a drawer.

I am currently using this desk as I type this review on my netbook. I am a very speedy typist (range between 80 and 95 wpm) and it does not hinder my speed in the least. I am able to work on this on days when my back or my stomach issues cause me to not be comfortable sitting in my desk chair, and I love the comfort of it.I can sit with one leg folded beneath me as well, and still feel comfortable with it not rubbing against any part of my body. The surface slant has many different levels, and I am pleased with using the lowest and second-to-lowest while sitting on my couch. In bed I can use the higher ones and still be lying completely flat if I wish. The drawer is not giant, but it does hold my mini- USB mouse, a set of earphones, a pen, some SD cards, and a keyboard duster, with plenty of space for other items. I should add that if you rest the desk completely on your legs, your right knee might slide the desk out, but it is something that only happens to me from time to time. Generally the desk is above my legs with ample room. The material of this desk feels very strong and durable. Shortly after using it, the support rod on one of the legs did slip loose, but it was not damaged in any way, my husband was able to glue it back in place simply with some Gorilla glue. It is back to new now and I have been using it for well over 2 months.Overall I am very glad that I chose this desk over the other options out there, being that I can also fold the legs in and have it lay directly on my lap if I so choose. I think that this desk was well worth the added few dollars, and I am glad I did not settle for one of the cheaper ones.

A friend suggested it.I bought it based on (a) that suggestion and (b) the inexpensive price.I'm not sure that I'm using it as it was specifically designed, but found it fitted a particularly need excellently well.A good purchase.... (I had been thinking of giving it to my mother... not now!)

I bought it to use my laptop, keyboard and mouse while sitting in bed or on a couch. Working in an office 8 hours a day really put the hurt on your back and since i love to game and watch other things on the web it's hard to sit some more at home. I use this to sit or lay down on the bed while connecting my pc to my tv. Easy on your back and more comfortable. This thing is big enough for a laptop and a mouse but not enough for a keyboard and a mouse. If you had one of those tiny apple keyboard this would be perfect but i don't so that's why a 4 star.

The build quality was acceptable to the price I paid. And, it does serve the purpose it is meant for. Pretty comfortable to use and easy to setup..Would recommend to anyone, with a caveat that, the height is the only factor to consider.

I liked the smoothness and quality of the wood that was used but it is hard to store it upright because the drawer keeps opening and you have to use both hands to grab both ends

Okay, this is a great little invention. I think it's a great piece and anyone who is in need of a lap desk could definitely make use of this. I bought it because I live in a small space and I don't use my computer/sewing table as a dinner table so I needed something to use on my bed. It serves beyond it's purpose, however, I don't use it much anymore because my bed has wheels and the moment I lean against my headboard or wall, I start to move the bed. I will make more use of it as an table-top easel for homework from my art classes. It has this great little drawer on the side which isn't big enough for the average paintbrush, but would be good to store pastels and charcoals, erasers and things of that size. The quality and craftsmanship is really good, too. Definitely a worthy purchase. If it something you need, I would recommend getting it.

I have my laptop while I'm writing this review.Pros: Elegant finish and practical design. The adjustable top is a plus. The foldable legs are also practical; you can easily place the table across your lap without touching your legs. I have a 17" laptop and it fits perfectly with the mouse on its side.Con: The weight, 6 pounds is a little heavy (specially post hernia surgery)The small drawer is a nice touch but not useful, things can fall off when you carry itIf you are planning to take this table up and down, then this is not for you. In general, I would recommended.

The color of the wood is pretty and it's quite useful to me. But the draw under it is easy to break. Also, I wish it to be taller than it is now so I can put my legs under it easier.

I read the reviews before purchasing this item, and decided to go for it any way. I was concerned I would get a lemon, but so far, it's been acceptable. Perhaps because the tray has been sitting stationary on part of a coffee table since I removed it from the box a month ago-- only used to elevate a 17" laptop and an external mouse (space it pretty tight though). It arrived with no broken parts or loose screws, but cosmetically, the walnut finish does appear somewhat sloppy. One can see varnish drips, dents in the wood, and one of the legs is about 1/8" shorter than the others (I have a thin coaster underneath to keep it level). I do agree with others that the drawer (approx. 6" x 5" x 1") is pretty useless for anything other than a pen and a small writing pad. But for the price and quality, it's still not bad.

This makes writing much more comfortable. This is very useful when sitting in a chair or in bed. It is just the right size.

I love it it works perfect for me. It is sturdy and put together well. The drawer does not have a lock, but it does have a stop to keep it from sliding all the way out. I personally don't think it needs a lock as that would make it annoying to get into. The only reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because there was some glue showing, but it did come off very easy. I have no complaints.

There is no assembly. It looks nice. It's not fine German craftsmanship, but it's solid and functional.BB BB BB

I needed something for while I'm working in bed or on the couch. It has a side drawer on the left side. Also, in the picture it looks like the large top pulls open, like a hidden compartment, but it really just goes up like an easel. This desk is good if you are left handed. Other than that, it suits my needs perfectly.
