I am currently using this desk as I type this review on my netbook. I am a very speedy typist (range between 80 and 95 wpm) and it does not hinder my speed in the least. I am able to work on this on days when my back or my stomach issues cause me to not be comfortable sitting in my desk chair, and I love the comfort of it.I can sit with one leg folded beneath me as well, and still feel comfortable with it not rubbing against any part of my body. The surface slant has many different levels, and I am pleased with using the lowest and second-to-lowest while sitting on my couch. In bed I can use the higher ones and still be lying completely flat if I wish. The drawer is not giant, but it does hold my mini- USB mouse, a set of earphones, a pen, some SD cards, and a keyboard duster, with plenty of space for other items. I should add that if you rest the desk completely on your legs, your right knee might slide the desk out, but it is something that only happens to me from time to time. Generally the desk is above my legs with ample room. The material of this desk feels very strong and durable. Shortly after using it, the support rod on one of the legs did slip loose, but it was not damaged in any way, my husband was able to glue it back in place simply with some Gorilla glue. It is back to new now and I have been using it for well over 2 months.Overall I am very glad that I chose this desk over the other options out there, being that I can also fold the legs in and have it lay directly on my lap if I so choose. I think that this desk was well worth the added few dollars, and I am glad I did not settle for one of the cheaper ones.
