My husband is an invalid and totally bedridden. I needed a tray that would be sufficiently big enough to hold his meals so that he can feed himself. This tray works beautifully, the legs collapse when not in use, the height is perfect, and the sides are sufficiently high so the dinnerware and utensils do not slide off onto the bed. I had a sheet of perforated rubber to line my cupboards so I cut two identical pieces of this liner to keep the dinnerware and utensils from sliding as well. I am very satisfied with this product for our intended purpose and I see other possibilities for its use.

This tray seems to be well made. It looks exactly like the pictures. Handy little item. Great size and sturdy. Good value.

This thing is great. I've used it to hold dinner while confined to bed during a cold, to hold my knitting supplies and chart while working on the chaise, to hold a computer monitor when I can't bear sitting at my desk any more, and even as a little, short coffee table when guests are over and sitting on the floor. It performs all of these jobs admirably. It's very sturdy -- it held that 13lb computer monitor without complaint, and I've yet to have such a decadent dinner that tops that. The legs are attached to the tray part, and while they're not totally floppy when folded up, they don't stay flat against the bottom of the tray when you pick it up, making it a little suboptimal for loading up in the kitchen and carrying to where ever. It's relatively heavy, too, so it's even less ideal for that. It can be done, but getting the legs kicked out while holding the tray is pretty tough. So, if your main goal is to buy a tray that you can load up in the kitchen and then neatly (and without extra helping hands) sit down with the legs out, this probably isn't your best bet. Maybe one that separates from the legs would do better. But for a short table that fits over your legs while sitting in bed or on a chaise, this thing is fantastic. I use this all of the time -- more than I expected -- and highly recommend it.

Love this wooden tray! I've bought three different kinds and this is my favorite. Love how this has an option for legs or easily folds to have no legs. Wood looks great and does not ruin with Lysol or Clorox wipes.

Great looking trays. Classy and traditional all in one. I would recommend these trays to my friends. Great product and look.

We actually bought this for something other than the bed tray purpose, so I can't comment on the usefulness of the legs. We needed a drink tray to put in the center of a large soft-top ottoman coffee table. This suited the purpose perfectly.

Fast delivery. The only thing I could say about this table is that the legs don't lock in position, Very minor issue

I bought this tray for my son to use next to his futon. He places coffee cups, paper, pens, and napkins on it when he's watching TV or playing video games. It's the perfect height and affords protection if a drink spills. Absolutely perfect for our needs.

I like the trays, I bought two so my wife and I can eat in the bedroom on the bed. The legs are not used since it lies flat on the bed for us and they often pop out while we are carrying the trays, some kind of latch would be an improvement to the design to keep the legs locked in storage. I suspect people that use the legs could say the same thing about keeping them locked in place as well. That could be very messy if they slipped down.

I received this tray a few weeks ago. My husband had surgery and I needed a tray like this to use to serve meals in bed. I like this product and it is as it looks other than the tray bottom is made of very thin material much like paneling from the 70's. If the bottom was made of a thicker material like the rest of the tray, it would last for years. I will need to be careful with it though otherwise it will not stand the test of time. I like the sides to help prevent spills and this is why I chose this tray over others on the market. Had I seen it in person and realized how thin the bottom is though, I probably would have kept searching for a tray with a better quality, heavier bottom. Too bad the company that makes this tray went cheap on the most important part of the tray; the bottom! I gave it four stars because I do like it and thought it deserved more than the three star 'it's okay' status. However, I think three and a half stars would be more accurate.

I ordered two of these for breakfast in bed, but also use them on the couch in front of the TV. Very sturdy and I like that the legs fold for easier storage.

It is well built and looks nice. Relatively large, and heavy, the edges will get in the way if you are trying to use it for work (laptop) but it is great for breakfast.

The tray is just a little deeper than I would like, but over all it works fine and is of quality.
