It's very solid and a nice looking desk. I like the fold down keyboard drawer. It's small but perfect for what I need.

Delivered on time and well packaged/protected. Didn't need help. I was able to put together without assistance. One annoying issue - know did not come with the right screw for the knob (looked like the screw hole was cut off-angled so the crew may have been the right one, but just wouldn't work). Thankfully we had one that fits perfectly. Was able to lift the table and put into place alone. Very attractive honey color - brightens up the space. Fits perfectly in a tiny corner dedicated as our "office." Would buy again in spite of issue mentioned.

The product: The table is what I wanted. It is sturdy. Nice construction. Made of honest to god wood. Only real complaint about the product itself: The keyboard tray door jiggles open easily. Nice touch: the legs have metal receptors for the bolts making them extremely stable.Packaging: As noted several times in reviews on this, the packaging is horrible and flimsey. Unlike some other lucky reviewers, mine did arrive with some scrapes on the edges. Fortunatly not where it would show for my application. This is the main considering factor for dropping this to a four star rather than five.Assembly: Easy as pie with one little problem: The wrench I was provided was the wrong size. Fortunatly, I have a decent set of tools so this was not a problem. I would recomend having your own set handy. Also, a good philips screwdriver.Considering the price? This little guy is a big win.

We received this table last night and had it assembled and put into use in about 20 minutes. Here is a quick summary of our findings:POSITIVE- Despite what some other reviews indicated, the packaging was excellent and the table arrived without any damage. The corners were protected by wooden blocks and there was enough styrofoam and plastic sheeting to protect the exposed surfaces properly.- The table was very easy to put together - Just two nuts per leg using the included spanner. Note you will need to provide your own Philips-head screwdriver to install the knob on the keyboard tray cover door.- The assembled table is tight and stable - no squeaks or ill-fitting parts (except for a few things listed below)- The assembled table looks great and generally the finish is good - excellent value!NO-SO-POSITIVE- While the tabletop was generally ok, I noticed there were several areas where wood filler was used to fill out blemishes that might have been in the wood to begin with or added during the manufacturing process. I don't mind the occasional spot of filler, but in this case at least 5% of the surface was filler and that too in a mis-matched color so it stood out. More attention could have been paid to minimizing the need for filler or at least using one that works with overall grain. I should point out that once you have your monitor and other stuff on your table-top, the fillers don't stand out as much.- More attention could have been paid to the finish of surfaces not visible on the outside - for instance the drilled holes underneath had all kinds of burrs and chips that could have been sanded away very easily. There were also a few splinters along the bottom edges that you'll have to watch out for when you assemble the table.- The keyboard tray could have been put together with a little more attention to detail - the track is a little mismatched, so the tray is wobbly when it is all the way in. So while it works fine when it is all the way out, it takes a little extra effort to pull it out initially.I would have been happy to pay an extra $20 to have these blemishes sanded/filed away - just putting that out there in case the manufacturer is listening.Overall I'd highly recommend this as a no-fuss computer table as long as the dimensions (height) work for you. We use it for a 27" Apple LED monitor as well as a few books and things and it works well and looks great.

I previously purchased a sofa table from Winsome Wood and it is perfect for the use I have for it and so I decided to puchase this desk to replace a ginormous 80's monstrosity. The first desk came damaged but I just sent it back, without drama, and got another one.The new one came faster. It took longer to move the computer on to it than to assemble it. I really like it. It fits perfectly in the new office space. I will consider Winsome Wood if I need any more furniture.

I really love this desk. Lots of room, hideaway drawer for keyboard. The matching file cabinet compliments the desk and is convenient for quick access to printer supplies and files. plus the wood is solid and looks more expensive than the actual price.

We were looking for a desk for our son's room. This one was the right size and I expect will be able to grow with him through the school years. One slight disappointment we had was the cover for the keyboard tray is attached to the desk and not the tray as some are. This limits the use of the tray as a drawer which we had intended since the son in question is not yet old enough for a computer. That said, this is still a good desk for the money.

So I was a little weary about ordering this desk only because of the issues others have had with shipping and unfortunately they were right! The packaging is quite questionable. My desk top came with some dings and scratches. You could tell this was from the shipping because the dings and scratches were right where the packaging was dinged. The good thing is that if you send in a request to the company for a replacement they will generally ship you the new top or legs or whatever it maybe that needs replacing for free. I got the new top in a little less then a week and they don't make you ship back the damaged one which is good cause shipping would suck on that! It was super easy to put together and it looks really nice once its all together and there are no dings or scratches! Good Luck with this one.

This is the desk for a college student's home bedroom. It works well with his laptop and a couple speakers. It sits high enough that he can sit on a comfy desk chair at this desk.

I really like the feel of this desk. It's stable and the finish is nice. The door on the front is a little askew, but it closes with a strong magnet. It also has enough room for a flat screen monitor and for my son to do his 3rd gr. homework.

I got this desk to use like a dressing table. It's nice and sturdy, even on carpeting. In person it has a warm honey like color, helping to brighten up my room. It was really easy to assemble, all you have to do is attach the legs and the knob for the drawer. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a midsize desk or table.

The desk arrived without a scratch and I had it put together in 20 minutes. The finish is more on the orange side, but the desk is very sturdy and all wood as stated. The little hidden drawer for the keyboard is a nice feature. My printer will actually fit on the desk with the PC and the monitor. It's a good size for an extra bedroom where space is limited. I really like the desk a lot and very glad I purchased it and may purchase another one for a sewing table next for the other guest bedroom. For an all wood product, the price is not bad at all and I'm very glad I took the chance and bought this desk.

I bought this to have as a desk in my home office. I wanted something simple that was made of wood so it would match the other furniture in the room. It was delivered quickly and while I was nervous about the packaging concerns Ive heard in other reviews, despite some flimsy packaging it was in almost perfect condition except for a tiny scratch on one leg. Wasnt bothersome enough to send back though. Love the drawer for the keyboard and it provides ample space for a 24 in. monitor with lots of space left over.

I have been watching this desk for months. I read all the reviews and when it went down in price with free shipping, I decided to take my chances. The desk arrived within days, to which I was very pleased. As said by other reviews, there was not adequate packing materials to protect the wood. I inspected the pieces of wood as I removed them from the box and noticed a split on the front piece to the left of the keyboard door. I thought if it had to be damaged, why not in a less visual area. I used some wood glue and fixed the problem. Assembly took less than an hour. I just needed a phillips screw driver for the screw behind the knob on the keyboard door. The legs came with their own tool for the nuts/bolts. The wood is beautiful and matches the honey pine furniture I have in the room where this desk is now located. I have a 22" flat screen monitor and an HP printer on it and have plenty of room to work. The actual PC is on the floor under the desk. There is room for it on the desk, but I don't like a cluttered look.Again, this is one of those items that you have to take your chances hoping it is not damaged with you receive it. I doubt the company would reimburse me a percentage off due to the damage. I decided to live with the damage as it would be too costly to return it and take my chances on a new one, which could be damaged even more.Less the damage, it is a great quality piece of furniture.

This is a nice looking piece of furniture. It is a light wood and very attractive and solid. For it's correct application, it is fabulous. Here is what the desk is good for. It's about 42" x 20" on tabletop. Great for small spaces. It's about 29" tall. If you are a short adult (5'3" or so) it is fine. If not, your knees will hit the lip or you will have to sit kind of in a low chair. Great for teens, kids, college kids, etc. If you really need that for a small space, you may be able to raise it up on blocks or such. The down-side. It is just packed in its sale box not double packed. Mine came in a hideous storm, the box was soaking wet and had disintegrated in places. The wood was fine, but I had 3 dings which I can live with. Oh, and the computer keyboard tray didn't fit. The wood seemed a little too short and it doesn't fit into the rollers. I have to get my husband to put washers behind the screws allthe way around the hardware so that it will extend and fit right. It should be easy to solve with a handful of washers though. Overall, it's a good product if it fits your needs.

As with this series of Winsome wood products, the design is excellent but the quality of wood leaves a lot to be desired. Nevertheless, it serves its purpose well, and I truly do like it as a computer desk. It is very sleek, and the keyboard slides neatly into the desk and then is concealed by a hinged door. It's just a shame that the wood is not of higher quality, even though the color is beautiful.

I bought this desk because I wanted a simple desk that matched the color of my kitchen table. It really is what it is, simple. The design is simple, the assembly is simple. That's not a hit against it because if that's not what you're looking for obviously you wouldn't be looking at this desk.Anyway, there isn't much to say about it, it's put together well, and it's solid after it's assembled. As far as the packaging goes, the other people that have reviewed this are spot on correct. The packaging looks like something you'd get from a table you bought at Wal-Mart. This is fine when all you have to do is run it from the store to your house, but it's really inadequate for cross country shipping. There isn't enough give in the packaging to be very forgiving of any mishandling. Luckily mine showed up just fine, but keep that in mind when you order one of these.
