What a great little table. Really nice wood. Heavy! Easy to assemble. I love it!!! Put it in a spare bedroom I recently painted and will also buy the matching bookcase and have a nice little home office!

And it is real wood, not particle board. I wanted something to put my desktop computer on to use next to my smaller oak roll top desk. When and if I don't need it there anymore, I will use for a sewing table.

Sturdy. Good finish. Although the keyboard tray could have been a little more sturdy and should have provided some wrist protection.The knob for opening the keyboard tray really required some effort to tighten properly.

It's been about 5 days and it's still putting out a strange wood/chemical smell, also the back edge was a little nicked, but not enough to really complain about.

This is a gorgeous piece of furniture. The desk is much smaller than I would like, so I bought two of them and I am using them back to back. That works pretty well, and the price for two is still pretty reasonable.The desk comes nearly completely assembled. All you have to do is to screw on the legs using the bolts and wrench provided. If you have a ratchet socket wrench, the assembly will go a bit easier. It took me about 20 minutes to put together. The result is very sturdy. The finish is beautiful, a golden honey color. First class.It's made of hardwood, with multiple lengths of wood securely glued together -- sort of like a butcher block. There are some visible joins in these lengths of wood -- if you're not too picky about this, it's just fine. Likewise, there are some joins in some of the legs. Both desks I ordered had joins in two of the legs, and no joins in the other two. So I put the better legs on the front. But I don't want to give you the idea that these joins are very bad, and they don't affect the strength of the desk. The desk when it's all assembled is really very nice.The keyboard drawer is much higher quality than I expected. It's also very nice, and at just the right height. There's a moderate odor coming from the finish when first unpacked, but this has dissipated after a day. All in all, I couldn't be happier, and I would rate this 6 stars if that were possible.

Quality solid wood. Great height and depth. Assembly was very easy. Solid wood + simple classic design = long and useful life. Whole-heartedly recommend.

REAL wood, the finish is great on this pine desk and it is easy to assemble. My 19 y/o inexperienced son did it within about 15 minutes. HOWEVER, I personally am not fond of the rounded finished edge of the top of the pull out keyboard drawer. It rubs your wrists if you are one to type with hands low on in front of keyboard.

I was a bit surprised when I received this desk because it was made from heavy wood and not some cheap composite material that you would normally expect with furniture now a days. All I had to do was attach the legs and it was ready to go, it was also a darker shade then represented it the photo and that was also a plus since I like a medium color and not the real light wood tones.

Love it very well made with wood not pressed wood. Work just fine with my office chair! Would recommend for computers when space is an issue.

As I've said in another review, these Winsome furniture pieces are excellent value for the money--you're paying the same price as an Ik*a piece, but you're getting something made of real wood. Yes, as some reviewers have mentioned, the wood may occasionally have knots or other irregularities, but that's natural in real wood. It was relatively easy to assemble: the legs need to be attached (by 2 screw bolts apiece) into the top, and the keyboard drawer knob needs to be attached by a screw. I would say it took me about 45 minutes to assemble using the small pitiful wrench provided; if I owned a better wrench, I probably could have done the job in 15 minutes. I should say that I also bought the Winsome Wood Printer Stand, and these 2 pieces of furniture are very practical, give a large surface area for doing work, and make a nice matched set at a very reasonable price. I've only had the 2 items for a month or so, and can't comment on their long-term sturdiness, but based on their overall construction I'm sure they'll give good value for the money. Hey, if you want something that can be passed down to your great-grandchildren, maybe buy something for 5x the price from P*t*ry B*rn, but for the price, this is a good piece of REAL WOOD furniture (from Thailand). One problem I've had (which isn't enough to drop my rating from 5 stars) is that the keyboard 'drawer' front doesn't stay closed--the magnets that are supposed to hold it closed (as in the picture) don't make proper contact with the metal 'plate'. This is something that I'm trying to figure out how best to solve, but it doesn't detract significantly from my pleasure at having this desk in REAL WOOD at such a reasonable price.

Very pleased with this desk. Very simple to put together. Like it so much that I will buy more from Winsome even though I normally hate mail-order furniture.

Just what I needed and size for the space I had. The keyboard tray is a bit tight but I just use it to store my laptop.

I have two Winsome Wood end tables that I've been pretty happy with so I decided to get this desk as well. The packaging was a little thin but it arrived in perfect condition and took all of 20 minutes to set up. It's just a nice, solid desk that seems to be higher quality than other desks in this price range.

This is the perfect desk/table for me. I put a 27 monitor on it, and set up a Mac laptop on the floor beside it. The keyboard drawer works fine, although there is a wood ridge under my wrists that kind of bothers me. I'm not sure what to do about it, but it's not the end of the world. Very sturdy and nice looking table.

It was the right size, the right material, the right price. It looks a lot more expensive than it is. My friend put it together for me but said it was easy.I'm going back to Winsome Wood to find a matching bookcase

I needed this for a computer desk. It is much better than my roll top.I love the keyboard drawer!
