I have my monitor sitting on the top as well as my mousepad/mouse. My keyboard I keep in the drawer. The actual computer I keep on the floor. Everything seems to work fine and it hasn't broken so I cant complain especially at the price I paid for it.I would recommend this to others who want a simple, inexpensive desk.

I bought this desk to use in my Master Bedroom as a computer workstation. It's orange in color, is super easy to put together, is solid, and overall looks very nice for the price. I've got a 20" monitor, scanner, and ipod stereo system on top, and I use the keyboard drawer to place my Acer laptop. My only complaints are that the keyboard drawer doesn't pull out a little further (at least 4 inches left under the desk that could be valuable space for my laptop) and also the trim piece at the edge of the drawer make is so that my laptop cannot rest flat. When I retire the desk for a larger one once my detached home office is built, I plan to utilize the desk as a flatscreen TV stand and if that doesn't work then leave it where currently is as a writing/billpayer desk.

This desk is well worth the money and was easy to assemble. It's real hard wood, and is the perfect size for it's purpose.

Sturdy construction. Durable. The wood has knots in it, and some of the knots are filled in with hard epoxy, but for the price I paid it is a VERY good value!

I chose this desk because of the dimensions, color, wood grain, and price-point. It was delivered before it was promised, was exceptionally easy to assemble, and it fits perfectly in the room. The thing I like most about this desk is it's made from real wood -- not laminated saw dust. The only thing I dislike about it is in two spots on the desktop, the corrugated steel fasteners (used to hold boards together) are visible -- it's only a mild blemish though.

I was pleasantly surprised by this piece - looks like (and is) real wood, very little assembly (just attach the legs), and a cool little door to hide the retractable keyboard tray. Looks good in the living room - it's too bad my computer and printer don't look as good as the table. And, is TOTALLY solid, just like real furniture. I love it!

The desk is exacually what I needed. The only thing wrong was when we were putting it together, we found the right runner was not right, the sliding shelf wouldn't fit on the right side. so my husband made s brace to bring it out. Now it fits fine, and slides smoothly. Love it so far.

First off, it's very easy to put together. You'll want a socket wrench to do the job, so add that to your cart if you don't have one (a very cheap, non-metric set will do). Second, it's stained very nicely so it looks wonderful and more expensive than it looks. Only nitpick is that the wood used here is more of the B-grade stuff - which doesn't mean it's bad just that it's not top quality wood, which you'd find on desks selling for 5x the price. Still, it is real wood - no fiberboard.Overall, keep in mind this isn't a very large desk so it shouldn't be a "main" desk for workspace, but then it's not meant to be for that. With the low price, one might seriously think about buying more than one in putting in more than one room to create a "matched" series of desks in the home - I'll be doing that.

It's very solid and a nice looking desk. I like the fold down keyboard drawer. It's small but perfect for what I need.

Delivered on time and well packaged/protected. Didn't need help. I was able to put together without assistance. One annoying issue - know did not come with the right screw for the knob (looked like the screw hole was cut off-angled so the crew may have been the right one, but just wouldn't work). Thankfully we had one that fits perfectly. Was able to lift the table and put into place alone. Very attractive honey color - brightens up the space. Fits perfectly in a tiny corner dedicated as our "office." Would buy again in spite of issue mentioned.

The product: The table is what I wanted. It is sturdy. Nice construction. Made of honest to god wood. Only real complaint about the product itself: The keyboard tray door jiggles open easily. Nice touch: the legs have metal receptors for the bolts making them extremely stable.Packaging: As noted several times in reviews on this, the packaging is horrible and flimsey. Unlike some other lucky reviewers, mine did arrive with some scrapes on the edges. Fortunatly not where it would show for my application. This is the main considering factor for dropping this to a four star rather than five.Assembly: Easy as pie with one little problem: The wrench I was provided was the wrong size. Fortunatly, I have a decent set of tools so this was not a problem. I would recomend having your own set handy. Also, a good philips screwdriver.Considering the price? This little guy is a big win.

Maybe the shipping and quality problems that some buyers have experienced with this product have been resolved. Mine arrived solidly packaged (the box was reinforced inside with wooden corner blocks) and in perfect shape. The directions and assembly were simple. I needed a smallish Phillips head screwdriver, and it was helpful to have pliers to pull the (included) wrench those last few turns, since the edge of the wrench handle was thin and started to hurt my hand. I had a little trouble getting the screw all the way into the drawer knob. The keyboard drawer went in perfectly. Getting everything out of the box took more brawn than anything else. I am a woman of only medium strength, and I currently have a hurt shoulder, yet I put this together solo in maybe 20 minutes. It could have been faster, but I was simultaneously watching the Red Sox blow another lead--and see, this table is such a breeze that I didn't get irked even while assembling it under those adverse conditions. It's a lovely table, solid and clean-lined and pretty. I also got the Winsome Wood printer stand, and they are perfectly matched in height and depth and even color, though other reviewers have found that the color on the printer stand is a bit off. I'm toying with the idea of buying at least one more of each, for various spots in my home and office. I'm going to keep track of the price: I bought this desk about ten days ago for $109, and the price has since zoomed up by $25.

For the price paid, this is a great desk. The desk is all wood and comes in 6 pieces, desk top, 4 legs and a slide in keyboard drawer. My 11 year old son put the desk together no problem. I bought two on sale for $100 each. The desks are solid and worth the price. I bought the filing cabinet as well which has all wood parts but more expensive than the desks.

Just received =) and my husband whipped it together in about 20 minutes including unpacking. He said "unpacking took longer than the actual assembling". I think he might be exaggerating a little but the point is, the assembly was quite simple. We already have two full computer desks (you know the ones with hutch and all) upstairs in our office room. We both work from home every now and then, and sometimes land on the same days, and to give each other privacy one will work upstairs and one downstairs (utilizing the dining table). Dining table is nice too, but we sometimes get lazy clearing it up for dinner or when guests come over. We looked around the living room area and realized "hey, that's some good unused space we can make good use out of". Still in the process of re-arranging some stuff so the table can look even nicer in its own little area. The wood material seems to be of good quality, which is a plus, because I'm so sick of the desks we have upstairs which I think were made of laminate wood or particle board? which peels off after some usage, and especially if we have a glass of water that leaves condensed water on the table, soaking into it and peeling. I also like that the pull out keyboard tray is nice and roomy, so you can fit both the keyboard and mouse without much fuss. This table is Made in Thailand. Packaging was also nice, they used real pieces of wood in each corner to keep it nice and tight. The table arrived in 2 days for us, YAY! for Prime =).

I just ordered this desk for my new home. I was able to put it together easily, and I think it looks very nice. I did not notice any problems with the finish.

I use this desk as a small craft area. It's a comfortable height and the 'keyboard tray' serves as additional storage space. The finish and color are very nice (for a somewhat 'countrified' honey color). The desk is sturdy and was assembled fairly quickly and easily. Package arrived in good shape (it all depends on your particular courier though!) and next day as promised. I would definitely recommend this desk. I looked around for an unfinished piece of this same size and couldn't find anything in this price range or with this quality. On a sidenote: I have the Winsome Wood matching bookshelf, too. Quality and sturdiness are good; finish is more orange and rough/un-sanded.

Small scale desk with big features. Keyboard drawer adds surface area and makes a narrow desk feel bigger. Great color and finish. Highly recommended.

We received this table last night and had it assembled and put into use in about 20 minutes. Here is a quick summary of our findings:POSITIVE- Despite what some other reviews indicated, the packaging was excellent and the table arrived without any damage. The corners were protected by wooden blocks and there was enough styrofoam and plastic sheeting to protect the exposed surfaces properly.- The table was very easy to put together - Just two nuts per leg using the included spanner. Note you will need to provide your own Philips-head screwdriver to install the knob on the keyboard tray cover door.- The assembled table is tight and stable - no squeaks or ill-fitting parts (except for a few things listed below)- The assembled table looks great and generally the finish is good - excellent value!NO-SO-POSITIVE- While the tabletop was generally ok, I noticed there were several areas where wood filler was used to fill out blemishes that might have been in the wood to begin with or added during the manufacturing process. I don't mind the occasional spot of filler, but in this case at least 5% of the surface was filler and that too in a mis-matched color so it stood out. More attention could have been paid to minimizing the need for filler or at least using one that works with overall grain. I should point out that once you have your monitor and other stuff on your table-top, the fillers don't stand out as much.- More attention could have been paid to the finish of surfaces not visible on the outside - for instance the drilled holes underneath had all kinds of burrs and chips that could have been sanded away very easily. There were also a few splinters along the bottom edges that you'll have to watch out for when you assemble the table.- The keyboard tray could have been put together with a little more attention to detail - the track is a little mismatched, so the tray is wobbly when it is all the way in. So while it works fine when it is all the way out, it takes a little extra effort to pull it out initially.I would have been happy to pay an extra $20 to have these blemishes sanded/filed away - just putting that out there in case the manufacturer is listening.Overall I'd highly recommend this as a no-fuss computer table as long as the dimensions (height) work for you. We use it for a 27" Apple LED monitor as well as a few books and things and it works well and looks great.

I previously purchased a sofa table from Winsome Wood and it is perfect for the use I have for it and so I decided to puchase this desk to replace a ginormous 80's monstrosity. The first desk came damaged but I just sent it back, without drama, and got another one.The new one came faster. It took longer to move the computer on to it than to assemble it. I really like it. It fits perfectly in the new office space. I will consider Winsome Wood if I need any more furniture.
