I just needed to tap one fuse, so this was right-sized. I have an old hot rod roadster that uses the old glass fuses. I needed to get the ignition lead off my electric fan relay to a fuse controlled by the ignition. Once I identified a good candidate I just put this little tapper on the fuse and reinserted it. Crimped a little connector and pressed it on - worked perfectly. Now the fan shuts off when the car does, instead of running until the engine cools off (and of course the fan is cooling the radiator, not the engine...so it's really not helping).I have never done anything like this before, just watched a couple of YouTube vids to learn how to ID a good fuse to use, which side of the fuse to tap, and which lead on the relay to use to control the fan.
