Love this beret for dressing up or down! The band is kind of itchy though, so I suggest wearing the top part on your hair instead of your forehead.

I have bought this item several times with varying satisfaction levels. With this one, the headband was too loose. The color, blue, was wierd -- more of a dark blue-green. The woven wool was good quality. Another one I bought fit well and held up well; the wool was good quality. Two others I bought had wool that wasn't woven as tightly as I would have preferred. I think it's worth taking a chance.

2- I very much need a pink as pictured to match a scarf. You sent me a thick wool item in a peachy-orangie color that only covers the very top of my head and doesn't stretch enough to be pulled near even one ear! Terribly disappointed. A waste of money.

Poor quality. Wool almost seems felted and wool was fuzzy and pilling off straight out of the package. Looks messy and sheds a ton. Gave it to my 6 year old.

Make sure you wear the beret correctly. It looks just like the picture, and is well made and perhaps it will stretch a little. From wearing it incorrectly, I had a headache; it was a little tight for head, plus all my hair. THEN, I learned to wear it correctly. I had to open it up all the way at the rim. Then it fit very nicely and comfortably.

I'm a small to average woman. 5'2 and 120. Tight around my head. Gave me a pretty bad headache after a few hours of wearing to a hockey game.
