Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services, Job Training, Single Parent Agencies

Mission: Women Identity Purpose (WIP) is dedicated to connecting and advancing women to improve their families' quality of life through increased wealth, health and education.

Results: We build relationships with our community partners in order to target more women. In the recent past, some of the things we have done are: *Given away money toward educational expenses; *Raised funds for Christmas gifts cards for struggling mothers*Faciliated a back-to-school supply drive for an underfunded public school. *Provided workshop presenters for resume writing, interviewing skills, healthy living, etc. . . *Our largest Grady McKnight financial award has been $1600 to an individual. We have given out our Grady McKnight financial awards in 2009 (Monica Hopkins), 2011(Elizabeth Manoa) and 2012 (Antoinette Walker) and 2013 (Michelle Malone)

Target demographics: improve the economic sufficiency of Women and their families.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Women attending a program of higher education, or a female entrepreneurs.

Geographic areas served: Memphis , TN, Chicago, IL and Thailand. . . expanding as our project expand.

Programs: Year of Donation Program: This involves connecting with local nonprofits in our service area to help obtain donations-in-kind and contributions for their efforts. Grady McKnight Financial Award: College/Small Business/Expanding Awareness
